Nice place if you are ok with eating with your fingers.

I tried the Doro Wet, it was ok but not fantastic. It's a stew that is served with a kind of pancake. You're supposed to eat with your fingers, tearing the pancake in pieces with which you pick up the food. I asked for som...cutlery but was turned down in a very decisive but still kind way. I accepted to try it "their way" but would most likely have enjoyed the food more with cutlery. If you are a bit more openminded and less conservative than me you will most likely have a great experience.More

Great food, great price

We loved this dinner! Beautiful food that’s reasonably priced. Nice, chilled atmosphere too. Me and my son loved it here.

Superb

Probably the best food I’ve had in Bergen. Never would I have thought Ethiopian food would be so good. Must have!!!

Delicious and great service

Absolutely delicious! We cleaned the d tire platter and wish we had more. It was quite a popular place, though we were lucky to get in without a reservation (along with other people). The owner was incredibly wonderful. We highly recommend.

Amazing food

Amazing food. Cheap and nice staff. We ate with our hands wich was kinda fun and new. 10/10. Alot of taste and juicyness😮‍💨😍

A taste of home for us

We found this restaurant through trip advisor. The hostess was lovely and the food arrived quickly. The food was delicious and authentically prepared and served. Would thoroughly recommend

Different type of meal

We just dropped in on the off chance of a meal. We were made very welcome. As we are both vegetarian we ordered the veg plate for 2. It came With pancake type bread which you used to eat with. I felt there could have...been more of the tasty sauces I would have liked to try the honey wine but they had noneMore

A hidden gem of a place

A great experience to try some traditional food. We got the 6 dish combo which was perfect size for 2 people and the food tasted extremely nice. Highly reccomended!

Authentic Eritrean cuisine

We visited the restaurant on a cold January evening. Delicious tasty food and very friendly service. Definitely worth a visit, good food to an affordable price.

Delicious and filling

We ordered the vegetarian and the meat menu. The waitress kindly explained how to eat it. Tasted good and was very filling.
