What a great place to eat. Small and cosy but full of atmosphere with great art work from Perisher. The food was great and freshly prepared and cooked. The host was quiet but attentive. Recommend this for anyone that would like some middle eastern cuisine...while in Bergen!More

We went to the place with a pram. The sign said they are open for 3 more hours. Inside, there are ~5 steps upstairs, so we needed to carry the pram with a sleeping kid up. When we were up, a guy came to talk...to us. I assume it was Norwegian - he didn't seem to speak English at all (and he did not react to 'English, please'). Only after several minutes I understood they are closed, so we had to carry pram downstairs again (without any offers of help) and left. Will not go back there. Ever.More

Was here many years ago. Since then the place was not renovated in any way and the dishes just got smaller. Ordered a kebab with all extras - the kebab itself was a tiny little piece of meat and the extra side of lamb that...was supposed to be "grilled" felt more like roasted and/or cooked, to a strange level of rubbery saggyness, which in turn gives the impression of being overpriced compared to what you get. The food tasted however very fresh-made, and the desserts were pretty decent. Not a bad experience and not a bad place, but the overall impression is that of a somewhat lazy approach from the owners with a lot of room for improvement.More

The food is Way to expencive, one chicken leg for 290kr! Boring food, empty restaurant. The owner did not take criticism of the food very well. Hostile and angry. Never go here!!

We chanced upon this delightful restaurant after a Bergen International Film Festival movie. Well located in Bergen's theatre district, this eschews the high prices of neighbouring restaurants with genuine, delicious Persian food. This wife (chef) and husband (maitre de) pair have created a genuine middle...eastern food experience. We shared two main meals, a kebab and chicken with prunes and rice. Delicious. Followed by a walnut & date combination, covered with a sweet, yummy sauce. A memorable, well priced meal.More

The server couldn't speak proper English, made a mistake in our order, didn't accept his mistake, Food standard was below the average, no proper ventilation

Some very tasty dishes, especially the stews, where the middle eastern flavours are beautifully melded and the meat allways very tender. If you like grilled meats, try these! Even picky small children like the simple but well balanced safron chicken rice. Cozy atmosphere, good service.

Unusual to find a Persian restaurant, and somewhat perplexed that I never see anyone else in there when I dine. Good food but a limited menu. Very attentive and polite service. I was with a colleague from Iran, who enjoyed being able to order in...his own language. I had the fried aubergine starter, and it was excellent. The kebab wa served the raditional way, under rice and with a knob of butter. It was very good.More

My friend and I ventured here to try out a restaurant we've passed by so many times.... I wish we'd save our money and passed by this time too. We ordered aubergines with bread and tzatziki, a kebab dish (which was described as "not to...be confused with street kebab" and a chicken dish with saffron rice reccomended by the waiter. It was not good! Fine, it had some flavour, but the aubergines we're soaked in OLD oil and gone all mushy and the kebab was like any other. The so-called bread (of which I expected proper home made bread) was just a sad tortilla bought cheap, probably at the local store. The restaurant was cold and with no feel-good atmosphere and as we were sitting there eating our food, we were day dreaming about the meatballs they serve across the street. I will never go back here, total lack of ethnicity (especially seeing they use tortillas!!!) and all over not somewhere I would reccomend to others. They need to get their standards up and serve more exciting food than the sad stuff that came to our table, and change the oil more often... Total waste of money....More
