Tasteful and delicious pizza

I chose the Pizza Vegetariana. The pizza was very tasteful and just the right crispy crust. For dessert i chose a Panna cotta. I'm not thoroughly convinced this was fresh, so that was a little disappointing. Nice and friendly waiter left us with an all round good impression of the restaurant.

Comfortable restaurant: small, nice service although not bright. Very poor bruschetta as a starter: pizza with ham. Calzone with water inside, nevertheless tasty. Tasteless dessert. Nothing bad, just, well, just... I forgot.

Had a great dinner with my wife. Helpful staff. Had gluten-free Penna Italiano. No complaints what so ever.

Place was nearly empty on a Saturday night, we ordered pizza and must say it was tasty and waitor was attentive. However, according to the waitor, they are under new management and only serve house wine. When we asked for the dessert menu, he was also sad to say there was no choice but chocolate cake. This is not good... More

I have eaten at Leone di Mare on 4 occasions over the past couple of months and incredibly disappointing to read some of the reviews. Its true to say in Bergen we are spoilt for choice, honestly, are there any truly '5' star venues, I doubt very much, albeit perhaps close. There are many factors which contribute to the experience.... More

We went there with a happy bunch for a bachelor party of an italian friend. Obviously, he knew his food. Needless to say, that the second we heard the pounding on the steaks we ordered, we made a mistake. Food was bland and tastless. A tiny, tiny portion of whatever they had left in the ktychen. Just plain awfull. Stay... More

I went there with my friend and girlfriend. We got recommendation from our Italian friend, he said that this place is owned by real Italians and food is great. we had Carbonara, Spaghetti with Lobster and Pizza. Everything was great, we didn't wait long time for food, Carbonara was as it supposed be, without cream :), PIzza base was awesome... More

We stopped at this small Italian restaurant after descending on foot from Mt Floyen. It is located just behind the Hanseatic Quarter, not far from the base of the funicular. Our food - pasta, fish and salad were all fresh, tasty and simple -- just what we wanted. Limited but reasonable wine selection

Granted, we were tired and hungry when we arrived.... but pretty much nothing was right with this place. On arrival we were shown to a table with stains on the (disposable but not thrown away) tablecloth. We had to wait ten minutes for a menu because there weren't enough copies and the other tables were using them. We asked for... More

We have had some really wonderful food in Norway, but were getting a bit desperate for something other than Norwegian food, which even in the best restaurants is heavy on the meat and potatoes. Our daughter has been on Bergen on exchange for months and asked if we could have Italian food, so we went looking and found this nice... More
