Charming, friendly pub food in Bergen

This versatile restaurant with a large menu had spacious indoor seating as well as outdoor tables. A wide variety of hamburgers and other pub fare like pulled pork sandwich, along with sea food and salads, and a full service bar with good wines, too. Good value, good (non-gourmet) food, great service. Highly recommend this for a casual dining experience.

Cozy place, nice bar - but very unsure if it's a good idea to buy the food here.

We have visited a couple of times. Twice for food and drink. The location is very good and there are also some tables outside in the street. Inside, it is comfortably furnished with a large, good bar. The first time I ate sweet potato fries and it tasted good. The second time I ordered a sharing plate (sharing snacks) and it was a bad experience. Dry, expensive and tasteless, very disappointed.

Unpleasant bottle break from “bartender”

Food to bottlenecks from him in the bar you'll be looking for long. He raised empty glass bottles in a dungeon four meters from our table. Disgusting food.

Might be the most disgusting burger I've eaten in my entire 58 year life. Nice girl who gave good service, the male employee was not particularly service oriented. Mc Donald's is a dream in comparison. Cooked pre-burger with roll for bread. Other sloppy unknown content. Felt sick all night afterwards.

Hidden Gem!

We stayed several days in Bergen next to the YMCA and found this hidden gem just a short walk down the street from there. Lovely calming music (jazzy), comfortable interior, nice windows to people watch. The service was great (Thanks Marta!) as was the food. Try the cheese toast thing or any of the burgers. Very reasonable prices. We came here 3 times during our stay (afternoon and early evenings) and enjoyed very much
