I have missed an peruan/chilean experience in Bergen and this is one of two new restaurants that provide this cusine in Bergen. The chevice and tacos was splendid. The "coloured" tortillas was a bit outside of my tasterange, but experience was amazing.More

We were staying at Hotel Oleana and so popped down one evening to sample the desserts, having had dinner earlier. Even though they were busy on a Saturday night, the restaurant manager made room for us and took great care of us, which we appreciated....The dessert menu is small but the options are first-class. We loved the gingerbread ice cream with anise cream and crisps made from rice oatmeal and Norwegian brown goat cheese and the churros.More

We had an amazing 3-course vegan meal here. Everything tasted incredible, so many different flavours that went amazing together. And the service was really good too! Would highly recommend.

With an empty restaurant, we had to wait 18 minutes for 2 quesadillas that not only fall flat because of the complete lack of seasoning, but are also served with a generic chipotle mayo and a mixture of red onion, parsley stems and pineapple that...don’t contribute or elevate the bland chicken and boring cheese filling of the store bought sparkless tortilla. Said tortillas were soggy and the plating was as basic as it’s taste. There is no chimichurri or green salsa to be found and no citrus in our plates what so ever, this made the soggy bland chicken and cheese lifeless tortilla eating experience one of the worst ever in my personal experience. Our waiter spoke a mixture of very broken English and a broken Norwegian. These language skills were barely able to correct our order which was a pulled pork quesadilla but that was later somehow explained to us that there is no pulled pork, only pulled chicken. We also ordered a cortado that no only was admitted forgotten by our waiter but also served in a whiskey glass with no handle. The plates were topped with a mixture of olive oil and spinach? Both our plates had a fried fish- smell to them. Making the taste of chicken a very weird experience. We were asked twice how our food was by waiters that came from behind and that we weren’t able to see- a kind of jump scare experience. The offer of alcohol far surpasses the quality of the food by making this a bland boring experience with very bland food, overpriced for the quality with uneducated waiters that forget orders when they have literally no customers. People with 0 knowledge about the magnificence of South American food will find this place a great place to have a drink and we with extensive knowledge about the loveliness and freshness of South American food will probably never set foot here again.More

Loved Acido, the food and service was excellent! The hotel is not only known for their food but also the signature drinks.

So I was at Acido last Saturday when the bar was almost closed, with employees finishing their last calls and ready to go home. I approached a bartender and asked for a drink - he politely told me that they were closed but that he...could offer me beer or wine. During the conversation I mentioned that i just wanted gin and tonic - and that got this young man excited. Despite being late he offered to make me a special gin based cocktail (his secret recipe). And OMG, that cocktail was just super delicious. But what I appreciated even more is his genuine interest in making me a cocktail after close. but the story doesn't end here - since I liked the first cocktail he had made he offered to make me another one, a different one, which was also equally good. What a guy! and obviously the bar ambiance and the whole set up is worth going there. I will definitely visit Acid if I happen to be in Bergen again any time soon. The bartender's name is Bartek.
