After a long day in Trondheim we took a late lunch/dinner at the restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and we were served cold drinks quickly . We had pasta with seafood and pizza. It was delicious. The prices were good.

My Wife and I were in Norway visiting friends and were taken by a Norwegian relative who had heard good things about Frati. To Be honest I was expecting too much given my previous experiences of "eating out" on Norway, but I have to say that I was fairly blown away on how good this was. My wife and her... More

This is a full on modern Italian restaurant and soon to have its own pub in the cellar. They brew their own beer. The concept is a bit thready though, although this is something that has been an ongoing problem for this franchise. They are very good at most things, but the small things irritate right? No Italian waters or... More

I liked the place. Nice home brewed beer. The pizza was good. They played the music at a pleasant sound level -- not too loud.

We reserved a table on July 27. We were a group of 7 people who ordered both starters, main course and beverages. While 6 of us got food served at the same time, one had to wait. When the food finally came, it came with the sauce which he said he did not want on the steak. They took the... More

Frati moved from their old premises a year ago, and they have created a new great place in the center of Trondheim. It's a big restaurant, but they managed to keep a great atmosphere. Try their home made beer!!

Frati is a super huge restaurant. The waiters are nice but the service is not very personal, more like a mass-serving of everyone. The food is amazing! The paste is all homemade, the taste super Italian and delicious. The pizza as well, the ingredients fresh and the choice options very various and creative. If you do not expect it to... More

Frati is the taste of Italy - in the middle of Trondheim. For over 40 years has the Italian restaurant served tasty dishes, and is known for its tempting appetizers, better dinners and a wide selection of fine wines. In the family run restaurant, good ingredients are spcied up with joy and friendly people. The hospitality is great, and everything is arranged for you to relax and enjoy an evening of good food and good company in a real Italian restaurant.
