Easy going and very cool. This is a small pearl in Trondheim - if you like burgers and stuff (??) this is thew place you should get your meal. A cool place with great food and still remember the old rule of serving a meal...: GREAT and FRIENDLY service! This is the essens of the mentality of people from Trondelag county! A great variety of burgers and beers and other soft drinks!More

Love their burgers, good beef patty, not too greasy, chips are nice. Buns are above average. Good selection of burger variants. Vegetarian option available.

Came here with my girl to order a couple of Mojitoes. The bartender gave us table serving even though they don’t do that. Service was very good!

I went with my boyfriend on monday during the night to have dinner. It' s a informal place, kind of hypster, to eat or to drink casually. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and it' s possibile to eat various taco, wraps and hamburger. Food...is good and I suggest to eat specially hamburgers. The service is almost like a fast food, so u take also your food, but people work there looks helpful and nice. It's possible to eat outside. The only suggestion is the cleanliness of the place and the table, just a bit more. By the way, I really suggest to go there if you are around!More

3 persons for lunch, 2 had burger and 1 had homemade smoked chicken wings. Burgers were really good but the chicken wings are better from any deli in the grocery store. Orders at the bar and pick up food at the counter even if there...were literally no other people in the restaurant. Friendly guy in the bar though. Cool interior but will find another place next time.More

The place has a cool vibe and nice atmosphere, there is an inviting aroma from the street, so I was expecting to have a good meal. I order the beef and pork tacos, I would recommend to order something else. First, they are served in...stools I haven’t seen since I was in public schools, then you will notice everything in your plate is freezing as it just was out of the fridge, the beef and pork are heavily seasoned and not hot but warm. I am not sure if it was supposed to be chilli and beans. Don’t order the guacamole since it has a taste as if the avocados were not ready to eat. Flour tortillas are also serve cold. The corn side dish was just horrible, the price is about 15€. Best thing I had was the cocacola.More

Handcrafted quality burgers for any taste and with the option for extra patties if your hunger truly kicked in. Well made and crispy fries and a quite big assortment of handcraft beers. Probably the best burger joint in Trondheim✌️

I think that in the right context (for instance if I was a college age hipster) Bror would have made a better impression me. It was good food and I don't want to disparage a well intentioned effort by a decent eatery, but overall, relative...to the many other burger/gastro pubs in town, I must rank Bror as middle of the pack, perhaps #5 out of 12. If it was possible to score it 3.5 out of 5, I would have. But in fairness to other restaurants in this category, it just did not deserve a rounding up of the score to 4. First of all, let me mention the positive. It was good, quality food, mainly "gourmet" burgers, sandwiches and light Tex-Mex inspired snacks (tacos and nachos), plus add on sides, toppings and sauces. The menu, though limited, did give customers many customization options and lots of choices for side orders and creative add-ons. I liked, in theory, the exotic "gourmet" relishes, sauces and cheeses. The best side was the sweet potato fries. And finally the bar had a galaxy of domestic and craft brew beers, which I assume is the main draw here. The ambiance is that frenetic college pub atmosphere and it has that quaint, shabby chic/rebel against the man interior design. It is like young college student nirvana (and I felt old being there, hehe). I was there on a Friday night and Bror had a live band performing, which is a big positive IMO. In actual execution, I felt that Bror was about average. For example, the burger that I ordered had the option of a chicken "patty" (I am quoting their menu) or a veggie patty. Good idea, I thought. But what arrived was a butterflied breast of chicken sandwich (which technically is an upgrade from a chicken patty but nevertheless was not what was listed on the menu). The cooking of the chicken breast was excellent BTW, tender with a nice flame grilled char. Perfect and tasty. Of the two flavour profiles that I tried, the "Blue" was about as promised. The "BBQ" however was disappointing as the sauce was barely detectable. This was unfortunate since a real opportunity was missed in pairing it with that delicious grilled chicken. The only lettuce option present on EVERY burger was romaine. Now Bror's pride as touted on their menu was their french fries. Perhaps I got a bad batch, but they were merely meh. Not bad, not super, just your garden variety crispy home cuts with a flavoured salt mixture. I found their sweet potato fries much tastier, but those too were nothing to write home about. They also had two variants of so-called "dirty fries" but as the prices escalated with each subsequent iteration (like adding jalapenos) that I opted not to try them. Which brings me to my main critique point, value. I suppose Bror is about fair market price for a restaurant in Norway and might even be considered cheap eats, but to a non-Norwegian, paying $12 to $15 bucks for just the burger (no sides or drink) means that it had better be one spectacular burger. I am not sure I can say that here. And, sure, I can say that about most of the other similar gastro-burger pubs in town, but I just think Bror did not stand out. So I would say, Bror is a fine eatery. I might go there again, especially for the live entertainment, but, just literally throw a stick in any direction and one will hit another burger restaurant with similar concept, tastier food and an overall better value.More

Went for some take-away and ordered the Chili-taco. When I got back home, and opened the box, to my surprise there was no chili-taco - only side dishes. Lesson learned about always checking the content of take-away.
