Cert of Excellence? No way. Low-end mistake. Was probably nice many years ago before complacently surviving off of tourists. Limited menu if not having steak. Food, fingers and entire place smells of old cooking-oil kitchen.
I was looking for an informal place - but with a cozy atmosphere and good food- to gather a group of people participating at a workshop in Trondheim. We chose Frida and did not regret. Tasty dishes and good drinks!
This was really good! Had enchiladas with mexican beer and was so happy when the food came. Have been in mexico frequently and this really tasted good! Good service also. Will come back here next time in Trondheim!
Two grown ups and one child ate at Frida one afternoon. The venue is cosy and the service was excellent. The food was also very good, but I wish they had a bigger selection of vegetarian dishes. They could also have made a children’s menu....More
Warm and colourful Mexican restaurant. We had a soup with duck - that tasted of tomato only - and an enchilada - the meat was good, but the rest nothing special. The problem in general was the lack of taste.
The service here is excellent! We had special request for our picky kids and it was positively and happily adjusted into the kids menu. Food and flavors are excellent... personally, Ceviche was a bit on heavier side flavor wise ; I usually like it lighter...More
Excellent service when we sit down at the high table and low chairs. Funny though. We were met by a smiling waitress right away. She kept coming back many times to check if we were alright and needed more drinks. (Which I tend to like.)...More
