If I want to have a business meeting in a slightly unformal way, this is the place to invite to. Great staff and coffe! What more to ask for?

Exactly what you expect from a Scandinavian cafe. Lots of wood, plants and good art. Lovely coffee and a giant hot chocolate. Staff were delightful, shame we didn't stay to try the delicious looking pastries. Top notch.

Nice good smelling place that really stand out as authentic and true. We love the style and smell, combined with taste and service this is really worth a visit.

Authentic old bakery with all natural ingredients. Happy and service-minded staff, good food, nice seating and surroundings, both inside and outside. In the most cosy part of Kristiansand, Posebyen.

I thought we will not find a place to sit on the Saturday´s lunch. There were many families with kids and trolleys that day - that was very difficult to move. Tables are really small and too closed to each other. I felt sorry for those two pairs who were sitting rounded by noisy families in too noisy café. The... More

Good bakery products but it lacks a nice seating experience. I wouldn't say Norway is renowned for cakes or sandwiches, so as far as Norway goes this serves very good buns and bread. I did not sample the sandwiches so could not comment. The staff at the counter were very helpful but it is a self service cafe and for... More

Drommeplassen is located close to the city center but just enough off the beaten path that it won't be swarmed by tourists. The baked goods are the primary draw here, the ovens are wood-fired, so if you are looking for some good bread, cinnamon rolls, and the like, you're in the right place. You can actually watch videos of their... More

Burnt bread! Bad coffee. Poor service. When I asked for bread that wasn't burnt black, I got something that was just short of burnt (and still tastet burnt). Worst bakery I have ever been to. Seems like someone is trying to be trendy and copy Åpent bakeri in Oslo (or Håndverksbakeriet in Follo) and doing a very bad job of... More

This was the first cafe I ever visited in Kristiansand, and it's quite good. The only problem here is that it tends to be really full of people at almost any time. Everyone wants to eat or by breakfast or lunch here. It all because of the great selection of diffrent kinds of bread and coffee, and that everything is... More

Stopped for a quick nosh at Drommeplassen. The person behind the counter recommended the olive bread and suggested how best to eat it. It was really good! The espresso was good, too.
