Absolutely fantastic, the meat was so delicious and tender. Very friendly personnel. It was so good we went back the very next day.

This way my 2nd visit with my girlfriend within a year. We also brought along her sister and boyfriend for their first visit. We had a table at 20.30 and the outside seating area was almost fully booked. All four of us had the sharing...platter, which we had ordered on our previous visit. We were a little disappointed as they had run out of milk buns, however these were substituted tator tots, which were good. We were also slightly disappointed to find out they had replaced the brisket option with short rib, however everything we ate was exceptional. Really nice setting, efficient staff, but gotta watch out for the seagulls... We shall be back again!More

The restaurant setting is really nice in a green open area by the river, in the summer definitely try and eat outside! We had the sharing bbq plate that was really good, but this time they were out of buns so I think we got...another extra sauce or something… we were a bit disappointed to not have buns to make mini pulled pork sandwiches like we did last time we were there. We had booked the table for 20.30 so maybe if you book earlier you won’t have this unpleasant surprise. Overall I would come back and eat there again next time I’m in Oslo, and so should you if you enjoy grilled meats!More

after 45 minutes I asked where our food was, and the order (taken by a waiter) hadnt gone through. When we finally got our food after one wrong serving, it was quite tasteless and felt rushed. We were not compensated for this, and didnt even...get an apology.More

I first went to this restaurant when they were in a really small space, now they are in big space. Food and beverages are amazing. My favourite is the brisket, it just melts in your mouth. Mmmm...

Warm friendly service by 2 American waitstaff, a nice atmosphere, American and local beers (as well as wine and cocktails). Food was delicious - we had the Family Pickin’s Sharing platter for two and left stuffed. Tender tasty meat and delicious sides. No room for...dessert sadly. We booked a table online. Booking online 'normally" helps restaurants to plan ahead i.e table layouts and how many staff to have for each shift. Well not here ! If you book a table online it means that you have automatically selected "family pickings" ....Ans if you weren't the person who booked the table then of course you don't know anything about that "condition" . Then a waiter comes and gives you a lecture that YOU haven't read the info on the website properly ! So not a good start to a meal that you were looking forward to. So apparently, next time you should just walk in to have the freedom to choose from the other food. So we had the family pickings because we booked online. Yes the pork ribs were the best and that was the reason we came in the first place. We would have most likely chosen the family pickings anyway! But the way it was introduced was not usual. The only thing we weren't keen on was the chicken. We will come back I am sure, but not in a hurry and will not book a table. If they are full then we will go elsewhere. What a bizaar system. But otherwise the waiter was ok just need to change his ways and certainly alter their ways of communications.More

We were booked in advance so the only option for us, a party of four was the sharing/picking platter. For 375 kroner each, expectations were high. I am not fond of sausages or pulled pork, so I asked for other options. I was given a...good lecture of how this restaurant is different from all other restaurants as they prepare their food in advance. Having spent 40 years in the restaurant and catering industry I would say that most restaurants prepare the meals beforehand and this is called mis en place. The person who served us, the owner I guess, was very rude and condecending, telling us meat is very expencive in Norway and that they basically had to throw our order away if we wanted to change or add items. The brisket they imported from the US and they were out of it, Saturday 14. August. Why on earth would they import the brisket from the US? So wrong in all aspects! And pulled pork made from I guess pork neck, sausages, chicken tighs and pork rib are alle very cheap ingredients/cuts. Nothing special with the meat (not organic, small scale farm grown etc) Fast food style tiny portions of corn in a spicy Thousand Island dressing, ordinary potatosalad and mac and cheese topped with crumbled cheese doodles (not a good choice) with American super long life bread buns and some house-made sauces. The value for money is not there. And nothing unique about the food. There are many restaurants using the same type of smoker/barbecue equipment in Oslo. The closest is 100 meters away. I am very disappointed and had a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this to anybody. At least not to book in advance. The southern hospitality was totally lacking and the food was very disappointing in terms of price and expectations.More

The food here was good. The menu is a bot limited to classic american bbq. If one in your party want somthing else it is not possible. But if everyone wants BBq it is an excellent choice.
