We had such a good time here and everything tasted amazing! We ordered a set menu with 4 courses, ended up getting 6 different dishes, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The fried chicken was so flavourful, and the beef was so tender. Each of the courses was delicious in different ways. The pancake and ice cream were also amazing. The service was efficient and professional. We had a brief conversation with one of the waiters (which I also assume is the owner) where he explained how they prepare their food; he was quite pleasant and friendly! All in all, we had a great time, I recommend this restaurant and we’re definitely coming back!

We had a nice evening at Gangnam and would recommend the place to those who like Korean food.
+Good prices, you get a full meal with a beer/glass of wine for under NOK 500.

Had a great meal here! Not familiar with Korean food before, but they say it's authentic Korean, so it must be true! This was probably traditional food, not some "feismeckeri". I got the feeling that everything was "homemade" in the kitchen there, the food arrived piping hot on the table, and the waiter proudly told me that the bibring took three working days to prepare. It also tasted excellent!
They could probably work a little on the interior and lighting, and the portions were far too large, but otherwise this was top, and a place I would recommend!

Me and my girlfriend had anniversary and wanted to celebrate so we went to gangnam but had a horrible experience. There was a table next to which had a family that was very unhygienic and pigish. The lady had crocs and no socks and set barefoot in the restaurant with feet that were clearly dirty. They had a table that was open outward so this was visible to everyone and destroyed our appetite strongly. We tried to complain but the waiter was not helpful as she lacked training and gave us the wrong order and performed very poor service. The food was totally okay 6/10 max, but the whole experience was terrible and never comes back and recommend no one else it either since the food was not worth it

After seeing two wonderful reviews, it was a huge disappointment. We had booked a table, the restaurant was half full. Service was almost non-existent. We asked what they recommended and they pointed to two dishes on the menu and ran off. Appetizer ok, main course was a lot of soy sauce and so-called beef, but cooked in pieces. Small expensive beer bottles did not create any enthusiasm either. All in all a very mediocre meal with lousy service.

Jeg stod jo ganske lenge hos dere og forklarte hvilke retter jeg anbefalte ut ifra Deres erfaring av Koreansk mat fra tidligere. Vår Bulgogi er ikke "biff", det er Bulgogi denne retten heter og kan ikke sammenliknes med "biff". Kjedelig at dere ikke turte å si ifra om dette da dere var hos oss. Jeg spurte jo om maten smakte, og dere svarte "ja". Koreansk mat faller kanskje ikke i smak hos alle, men da har dere i hvert fall prøvd! Prisene er dessverre som alle andre priser i Norge.. Tro det eller ei, men ansatte må ha lønn de også og regninger må betales. :-)

We wnet there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was a very good choice. We had a testing menu, it was a lot of food and we got to try meny different positions from the menu. The food was really tasty, although not as spicy as we expected. Service was really nice, always on top of things and interested in our opinions. We will definitely come back. I can honestly recommend this place.

This was such a twist in the Korean cuisine. I'd never believe that comfort/street foods like tteokbokki could be presented in a more high class restaurant, it was beyond impressive.
We ordered the best spicy chicken bites we've ever tried, tteokbokki with vegetables that were full of taste, amazing japchae and one amazing, crispy kimchijeon.
If only the portions were bigger, this would be absolute heaven.
We can't wait to visit again.
PS. Do make the effort and make a reservation before arriving, the place is usually packed.

This place really hit spot on for my tastes. The food came quickly and it is noticed that they use raw materials with quality. We chose taste menu 61 and shared a bottle of cremant. Rause portions, you will be guaranteed full. Incredibly good pancakes of seafood, topokki snack was perfect before the main dish came. I usually eat some rice for Asian dishes, but this was so good that I had to prioritize the rice away. The dessert was not too sweet, and the ice cream fit well to the cake. Recommended! Nothing to postpone on the service, but this is a restaurant that clearly has the food in focus.

I missed a trip to Oslo in Norway and had a hard time looking at the restaurant, and I was very pleased to see the Tai Chi in front of the restaurant, and a Korean employee said that the transplant room needed Reservation and it was only possible to walk-in when there were vacant seats. The feeling of being discriminated against the same Koreans in treating foreigners behind us first. I don't know if you're a Korean server or not, but I regretted not coming out of the restaurant right away.

Remember to book a table. We find that it is very often full here, and then you miss out on a special Korean meal. Cozy locale, fast service, unusual but very beautiful plates and not least good authentic Korean food. There was also a quick response to the bill when the evening was over. All in all a very good experience. We will come again!

The owner was absolutely racist! Looks he only wants the locals. We waited to get in and got the corner table by the entrance to WC. The service was horrible and we had to wave forever for our orders. It was pathetic. When we finally got to order, he only got us half the items saying they were closing. Looks like they couldn’t wait for us to leave the place. Good riddance. Very bad experience. If this is what Korea is like then I am never going to Korea.

First of all, to mention racism in a restaurant because things arent going your way is a insult for every racist motivated crime or action ever happened, and you should be ashamed of yourself for even trying.
That beeing said, we gave you the only available table we had, and its not by the entrance to the WC, it was by the stairs down to the basement. No need to be overdramatic. You did not have to wave forever to order, myself walked past you like 4-6 times and everytime i looked at your table you looked away. Later you complained that you tried to get attention from a waiter for the last 10 min. If you were "waving" like you explained, we might had seen you. But unfortunatly, noone of the staff can read minds. We gave you half of the items you ordered out of two items. Since i already told you, the kitchen was closed. If you ever go to Korea or not, dont really mean anything for us. All in all we are all humans, and should also be treated that way, maybe its an idea to look yourself littlebit in the mirror.. Nobodys perfect.

Nice place, good food. The amout of portion is a bit small. Make sure to order extra if you share it with friends. We had a nice gathering there. Not sure about the service level since the waiter (s) always looked serious and never smile. A bit pricey but worth it.
