...and let me make it clear that prices here are really really low for local standards. The venue is very plain and simple, which is fine of course, but does not seem very clean, which is a bit off-putting. Our dishes were served 2 or 3 minutes after we ordered, which says something about how freshly cooked the food probably... More

We had been twice to this restaurant during our oslo trip. tried tikka masala and lamb karahi! it was very much economical. It is not a place to hangout, but useful if people are in a hurry or hungry. The food comes pretty fast. Food around 80~90 kr shall have boned meat/chicken pieces and 110~130 kr shall have boneless pieces.

This place is quite popular in Asian as well as locals because of good food at very reasonable price, though many find it not upto greater standards due to it's location and rather sober look. You can find both vegetarian and non vegetarian food with real Indian taste. Very near to central station and connected with local train and at... More

The place is about a 10 minute walk from Oslo's central train station in a street lined with ethnic shops and restaurants. There is exactly one choice if you are vegan - chana masala. The portions are really small, so be prepared to spend more or leave semi-hungry. For vegetarians, there are a number of good choices but portion sizes... More

If you're looking for somewhere to take your dog out for food then I'd highly recommend the Punjab Tandoori, Oslo. The chicken tikka masala was not only tasteless and too salty, but full of small bones. The peshwari naan was disgusting, a very overwhelming taste of ani seeds. We left both the naan and the curry. Clearly no care or... More

A very untidy place with a rather unfriendly service. Its quite cheap as you pay 80 NOK for tandoori curry, tiny bit of rice and a Nan. However, the curry is not authentic and is just thick lentil soup with some spices and the amounts are little. The owner is inattentive to a solo traveler and focuses more on his... More

We always go here When in Oslo. Quick servings and good food. You can also sit outside. You will get the feeling/view of Oslo eastend culture and streetlife. This is "Grønland" with all it's diversities. Will come back at next visit to this city.

It cost 80NOK for a curry, rice, salad & nan which is really cheap in this city. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the palak paneer & side of veg pakora - highly recommended. It doesn't look a lot from the outside but don't let that put you off. Also the service is brisk! Basically you order at one... More
