I have been a regular customer for at least 15 years. Simple, but amazing, food. Served fast, with great service, at very reasonable prices. This is no 5 star restaurant, interior is simple, but location great, and you can eat outside in summer. All expences and efforts are put into making great, affordable food. Tandoori and currys that will make... More

One of my favourite restaurants in Oslo! one of very few places in Oslo where you can get a meal for less than NOK 100. Every dish is served with rice and naan. My personal favourite is the palak paneer!

I always prefer this whenever I do not want to waste time on deciding menu and waiting for the order. Punjabi Veg, Aloo naan are really good. Must try.

This place is perfect for either take away or a quick dinner. If you like indian food and don't want to pay too much, then this is the place. Simple and very good quality. Very active ( always a good sign) and central . I have been there a few times and tried most of their main dishes, all of... More

The food was tasty and the service was fast. You order from the counter and grab a table. The place was bustling, confirming it is popular. We had chicken tandoori and veggie masala, with garlic nan. Plus 2 beers. Total was 300 kroner. I recommend this place.

We ordered kylling tikka masala and garlic kylling .. both dishes were bland and to top it all the rice that comes with the dishes wont be enough to feed a baby forget grownups..the portions are REALLY meagre and the taste of the food is also Horrid!! Might have been a good place earlier but definitely on its way DOWN... More

Very community based feel, with cheap Indian food. The food is in no way the best by in terms of Oslo its a good balance between cost and quality. It has a cantina feel and food was reasonably served fast. Owners appear to be Indian and cooking their authentic food in a Scandinavian environment.

With a communal cantina feel and and very friendly staff Punjab Tandori is a great place to stop for a quick tandoori bite. It's not fine dining by any stretch of the imagination, but wouldn't it be a boring city if all restaurants were? At these prices a meal here is a solid alternative to a kebab or hot dog... More

So this is no classy joint, and that's more than fine with me. (Curry eating out educated in Brick Lane in the 80's). A. Samosa's that are short crust pastry - sorry that's just not right. B. Salad on the same plate as rice (with something was decidedly more Mayo that raita) - sorry that is not right If you... More

This is the place if you are on a budget and eat something nice and homely. each thali comes with a naan and rice. the quantity and quality is good enough.
