French style restaurant in a classic Oslo wooden house. Great service. Complete wine list with great wines. Menu is limited, but food is great! Today’s fish and meat is recommended.

The service is caring and welcoming. Quiet, cozy and very nice restaurant. The food is absolutely beautifully cooked. They have to try it. If I go back to Oslo, I'll be back there without a doubt.

Been here before, and came back for another delicious meal. Had the wonderful entrecote, and the staff are nicest people you´ll ever meet. Love this place. Highly recommended.

There are several restaurants in Oslo that make French style meals. However, something seems to be missing from many of them. Unexperienced staff, interior not right, too hyped, price/quality not right. In my opinion Chez Colin manages to get everything right, so right that you...would think that you are in a good French village restaurant. The staff is nice and some of them are even French. Last time we were there we had a series of traditional French dishes including foie gras poelé, all of them nicely presented and accomanied by good wines. The only noticable drawback was that some of the dishes were a bit too salty. The ratio of price / quality is very good. I they get a Michelin star prices would probably increase so I hope they don't get it.More

The food was amazing and the staff are even better. A must visit when in Oslo. I am gluten, wheat, dairy and eggs intolerant and they catered for all of my needs without a fuss.

We showed up on a Friday evening without reservation. We were told there’d be a table available in 25 min. We decided to wait as the restaurant looked really nice and the prices on the menu seemed Ok for Oslo. It was a very good...decision. We had two main dishes of lamb and one main dish of duck. Food was well-presented; service was quick, professional and friendly; meat was tender; the sauce and sides were delicious and fool of taste. My only criticism is that it was very loud inside and we couldn’t comfortably talk at the table. I think it was partially because the space is tight and tables are placed very close to each other. Of course it will probably be quieter if you visit on a non-weekend night. Prices were affordable and reasonable for Oslo and for the quality of food that we had.More

As a family gathering of six to celebrate an anniversary we went there with great expectations, and we were not disappointed! The food was just fabulous, and our french waitress extremely pleasant, alert and helpful. We got excellent advice on the wine list in order...to find something appropriate and affordable to drink. Definitely not our last visit!More

The atmosphere at this place is very cozy and would be perfect for couple. We ordered 2 starter and 2 main course. The highlight was definitely the foie gras with cranberry and almond. I highly recommended this place.
