Former favorite bar in Oslo west, which advertises with a "real British atmosphere". Unfortunately, it has had a slow decline. It started quite a while ago, when it was getting closer and closer to a regular sports pub. In anticipation of the TV broadcasts, country music has now taken over the afternoon in the form of endless music tapes from Nashville.

Great find in Frogner for a drink and a pizza. Cosy with real fires and very friendly English speaking staff. We visited a number of times during our stay and will be sure to return next time we are in Oslo.

Not the biggest beer selection on tap, but nevertheless a cozy neighborhood pub to hang out in. On the expensive side, but a nice place to stop for a couple of beers.

Had the unfortunate experience of visiting Forrest & Brown in Oslo, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever encountered. The staff displayed an almost shocking level of arrogance, as if they were doing us a favor just by letting us step through the door. Politeness and basic hospitality seemed completely absent, with condescending attitudes dominating every interaction. Any expectations I had were crushed by their sheer indifference and lack of professionalism.
There is absolutely no reason to visit this place. Oslo has so many great options — save your time and money and go somewhere else. Forrest & Brown is an embarrassment to Oslo’s otherwise vibrant and welcoming scene. Avoid at all costs!

Very casual and friendly place to enjoy a pint or lunch. We did that, then spent a few hours on buses and boats using the OsloPass (a bargain!) After a nice dinner, we stopped for a final glass of wine before giving up for the night. We have a few more days here, so we will be here again.

Well to say that I mean it, this is a great bar. The two guys behind the bar (both Swedish) were some of the best barman I have encountered. They are quick, happy and smiling all the time and spoke perfect English. The owner was there as well and he made you also feel like this was your bar near home. The food well it is a bar so I am being soft on it however not that great, although plenty of it. I will be back there when next in Oslo. Thanks for a great night.

The place is good for a beer outside. I have had salad here once which was ok. But the entrecote with grilled vegetables was terrible. The chef had covered the vegetables in a lot of oil so the vegetables was mushy and not chrunchy at all. The bearnaise was terrible probably from a tube or a bucket. When I complained I was told that this is a pub. As a pub can not serve good food.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The food was fantastic and you got a lot of food for the money. The Ceasar salad was one of the best I have ever had.
The sound level was too loud though.

I guess the only bad thing to say about this place is its location. It's perfect if your in the area, and I'm sure the locals love it. I did when i lived in the neighborhood. Unfortunately I'm not there as often as before since i moved.
This is a very nice pub. Cozy pub with very good pub food. The perfect place to stop by for a little snack and a beer. If you become a regular I'm pretty sure this is the type of place where everybody knows your name. ;)

Discovered this nice intimate pub in the Frogner area to meet up with colleagues before Xmas dinner 2017.
Very accomodating management that catered to our beer of prefernce and some tables for our group. We managed although the pub has limited space to sit and enjoy the great pub food available.
Tempting enough to come back again.

Not bad, but as in all of Oslo, way over priced. 12US$ a pint, come on, why make everyone pay for their socialized government? Bartender was very friendly and helpful. Food was all good and efficient in time. A nice play to just drop in and eat. Open Sundays, which is nice, and they serve food until 9pm.
