Went with 8 other friends, confit duck was ok, service was terrible. I ordered duck but in came a plate of chicken, I was offered to eat this instead. Had to wait another 25 minutes for the duck while all my friends were eating their plate. I would think twice before going next time, sorry to say.

We ate here twice. I had the sole one time and the halibut the other time. Both were excellent (I liked the halibut a little better because there were no bones!). The staff was nice and we liked the restaurant decor.

Cafe Christiania provide a very great ambience with nicely decorated high ceiling indoor and also outdoor seating. The deer steak was excellent and on the third attempt we could also get a good match with a Barbaresco Reyna wine. Disappointing that the two first requests for a Toscana wine was out of stock...Service was friendly, but slow. The place has... More

Took a party of 5 to this warm brasserie full of Norwegian memorabilia. We ate well prepared and affordable mains: Wolf fish, steak and lamb. Highly recommend.

Lovely outdoor dining near the Parliament building. Excellent food. We enjoyed fried char, asparagus and potato mash.

open air cafe next to the City Hall in a very central location the interior is very quaint and decorated with old objects and even an old cobbler's shop ... high ceiling and a huge window gives a nice atmosphere to the interior service was a little slow but it was worth the wait for a great tartare and a... We ordered the high tea early one afternoon here and were delightfully surprised with the service and the quality of the food. The outdoor seating was very pleasant but inside is equally nice and the displays of antique items are very interesting! We will definitely visit this restaurant again on our next trip to Oslo!

Thought the food was very good - fish and seafood soup was delicious, and entrées all were also very tasty - duck confit, halibut, chicken and wolf fish. No one went away hungry or unhappy with their dinner. Service was good - our waitress put up with our English only approach graciously. I recommend it!

This restaurant looks like a museum, with lots of collections of vintage advertisement plaques, laundry detergent boxes, toys, clothes, shoes, etc. The entire place is filled with them, but because they are all sorted by item and all from the same era (early 1900s) it doesn't look messy or chaotic, but very interesting. The food is excellent too. Service is... More

I was there with a friend for the brunch and we ordered the finger food. they were basically small sandwiches that we could have done, without any exceptional chef skills (bread, lettuce, maionese, ham and cheese...) nothing that deserves extra credit. I must say that due the prices, I was expecting something more...

Hi Tatiana, I'm sorry to hear that you were not delighted about our fingersandwiches. They are part of our Afternoon Tea concept and both bread and its condiments are quite traditional to the concept (white bread with cream cheese and cucumber, ham and cheese, salmon & eggsalad). In addition we serve them with homemade scones and homemade sweets to complete... More
