I really like this place. The atmosphere is very authentic and it's not like one of those standardised places that are very popular nowadays. It's a genuine Oslo restaurant and they have a selection of real Norwegian dishes. I have been there on December 23rd...2020 for my second time after many years, and I had a 'Juletallerken' (in the picture), which is a traditional Norwegian Christmas dish. It was delicious.More

This is one of the older restaurants in Oslo with an interesting history and a nice atmosphere. The precautions against corona contamination are very good, the food is pretty good and the service is nice.

Very old and bizarre restaurant. For dinner, table reservation is recommended. Quirky and bizarre interior, very exciting experience. We tried their lunch. Skagen sandwich and salad were huge and delicious. Nice garden terrace. A must in Oslo.

We decided to go to this restaurant because it looks very charming and cozy, however, the good things finish on this. ah!no English menu at all, which is very impolite! When we arrive, the waiter put us in a table that was not possible to...eat. So, after wait 5 min and no one come, I asked the manager to change the table, The manager (a woman) was very very unpolite, she "turned up her eyes" and did a terrible face and put us in a table with two ladies smoking (I was pregnant, so I was very specific asking for a table not near of people smoking). After that, we order a big fish soup to share and a reindeer (the waiter said he can bring soup in two plates to share). When the plates arrive, the soup came in just one plate. After that, I asked for more bread, that never comes. The reindeer was a hamburger of reindeer that the last things that there was in the hamburger were a reindeer (the hamburger was much worse than a supermarket hamburger - my husband could not finish his plate because the taste was disgusting). The sumarise, all the experience was terrible and not worth the 770kr (around 70 euros). Dont go!More

We saw this restaurant on someones travel blog and it looked very nice so we decided to visit for our first evening in Oslo. It was a very short walk from our hotel so this was an added advantage. We were shown upstairs to our...table and the service was quite slow. I visited with my two adult sons and my wife and all of us had a local dish except my wife who fancied Fish and Chips. The local meals were very nice but my wifes' fish and chips looked (and tasted) like they had just visited the local cheap supermarket and grabbed it from the frozen aisle. We all had one drink and a dessert and the meal cost us around £160! This is a very expensive and over hyped restaurant with average service.More

We had lunch here yesterday. I had the fish soup, which was decent. My companion had a burger which was pretty tasteless. There is a number of other places you can go to in Oslo to get a far better burger for the same price....We also had regular fries and sweet potato fries to share, none of them were really any good.More

We were walking around park and suddenly this place appears. We immediately found it very attractive and interesting place to eat. But despite the food was good, service was horrible. Waitress was rude and from the first sight showed his careless attitude. We didn’t feel...happy after leaving the place. I totally don’t recommend this place, because there are so many other better place to eat. Thanks,More

This restaurant is well known in Oslo and doesn’t need another good reference. However I can just remind to anyone in Oslo that going to Lorry is a must. Kindness, good food, wide selection of wine and beer.

Surprisingly disappointing, service was slow on this Sunday. Fish & Chips was very ordinary and seafood salad was dull. Must say that this was a waste of money. We sat at least 15 minutes without a waiter attending us, nobody asked us if we liked...the food after being served.More
