My husband and I ordered the vegetarian mezah, and it was simply amazing! They filled our table with small sized dishes, and we were sad we could not finish it. The dishes varied between sweet, spicy and savory, and the bread was so tasty, we actually ordered two extra.
The dessert was good, not fantastic, but the main course was so good, I still give them five stars. Especially because of the attentive staff, who checked on us regularly, to see that we were happy and content.
The food was served really quickly, and the atmosphere was nice, allthough a little noisy, because there were alot of guests.
I really recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes food that tastes alot, and who is not afraid of spices.

Its a nice restaurant that we have visited many times before. They earlier had more mezze platter and later you can add the ones you like more and 2 people can eat. However, now they have increased the prices of additional mezze which means you have to order individually and sometimes its too much of hummus, and other dips than the actual food when you order individually.

What incredible food! Everything we ordered had it’s own flavors and they danced so well together. We ordered the grilled mezah and the chicken tawok! We found out the place has been in Oslo for over 25 years with the same Owner/Chef who still cooks almost all of it himself. For some reason, Mr. Bourdain came to mind as I felt as though he might have loved it too!

Went here with my job on a beautiful tuesday afternoon in Oslo. Were quite suprised about the service. The waitress didn`t have a clue what sprakling water/farris/water with bubbles was, so I struggled a bit when it came to ordering drinks... Then it was the food. Everyone I discussed the matter with said the same thing: not enough. Almost everyone had chosen the meat alternative, and when the waitresses came in with bowl after bowl it looked quite promising. In the end there were nowhere to place our plate with the main course. Even though food was decent, hummus was to thin and brussel sprouts were cold. But the problem was that despite of the amount of bowls, there were almost nothing in them. I could easily have eaten twice the amount of what I did. Furthermore, service was poor. After I finished my sparkling water, no one asked me whether I wanted anything more. And even though they saw that people were looking aroud the table after more food, they started taking our plates. And brought two jugs of water as the only thing. In the end two or three "late-eaters" sat with their plates. No dessert option, no coffee option.... Disappointing!

3 of us were at Habibi where 2 of us ordered the meze with grill course and the third ordered meze with meat. I was quite disappointed with how much the quality had dropped since my last visit almost three years ago. The grilled meat we got tasted good. However, the meze dishes were quite unimpressive and lacked taste. One of the meze tasted like mayonnaise and was not edible. Two others included diced tomatoes and boiled broccoli in a tasteless sauce. Baba ganoush lacked seasoning. One of two meze with meat dishes had a sausage like meat which had a strange texture and taste. One positive was when we requested for rice wrapped in vine leaves, the waiter immediately obliged at no additional cost. The waiter was pleasant and very helpful but did not both English and Norwegian well which made it challenging to communicate with him - one of us did not want meze with aubergine but I think he misunderstood that all of did not want despite trying to clarify several times. However, when we later specifically requested for baba ganoush he immediately got it for us. The restaurant really needs to work on elevating the quality of their meze dishes!

Avoid if you want a good meal!
My partner and I ordered the mezze and were both very disappointed. For one, the tables are too small for the amount of plates they stack on your table (one on top of the other making it very difficult to eat). They try to get as many customers in as possible meaning there is no space to move around which makes the atmosphere very overbearing. The portion sizes were pathetic. We were still hungry afterwards and assumed they had given us just one portion between two by mistake. Getting the bill and finding we had just paid 800kr for a meal that left us still hungry was a bit of a gut-wrenching experience.

We ordered meze for three with a barbecue dish, and were served such a large pile of bowls (with little content in each) that the waiter carelessly piled/slung the various dishes on the table. Not a smile, no information about the contents of the countless bowls. The table was overcrowded, although there was nothing left there but a burnt-out candle from before. The food was so far ok, but all the dishes just give a messy and confusing impression. The premises are dark with dark brown, bare tables, heavy draperies and seem worn and gloomy. With a bottle of wine and a couple of prosecco added, the final sum was NOK 2,800, it was definitely not value for money! I have eaten in Indonesian, Ethiopian, Asian and Lebanese restaurants, etc. abroad that serve shared dishes, and Habibi doesn't come close.

Take your friends/family here for mouthwatering food for eyes and soul. My siter and me shared meze and the dola dish. We both agreed that this is one of the greater places in Oslo to go. Reasonable priced too! Staff was really welcoming and always at hand. The portions were so big (at least for us) that we brought home two of the dishes from the meze. Would recommend 10/10. 🤤

Great restaurant with a long great list of different mezze and meat or chicken barbecues. Mezze is served in variety of dishes, vegetarian or with meat. I really liked the service minded team in this place. I like to visit this place soon again.

Went here to eat falafel as I saw a sign/ad about falafel outside the restaurant, but it wasn't on the menu.
The food tasted Indian, as if they used graham masala in all the sauces. Palestinian cuisine uses flavors such as seven spices, coriander, garlic and lemon.
Paid about SEK 300 for "meze" where I got brussels sprouts in soy sauce, boiled lamb in sauce (I was expecting grilled lamb), chicken also in a sauce, aioli/garlic sauce (which didn't suit any of the other dishes served), a bread with lots of oil/butter (reminiscent of nan) never had pita dipped in oil before, hummus was ok, and last but not least a spinach stew that tasted Indian too. When I asked the waiter which dishes were included, it included babar ganoug, but I didn't get that.
My party ordered a kebab and it was perfectly fine.
Not used to eating bulgur and tsatsiki with everything. Common accompaniments to food are usually bread and fries (this was not on the menu).
Was advised to eat grilled by previous guests who were satisfied with the food.

If I could give it -1 stars I would. The food is okay, but overpriced. The waiters were extremely rude and seemed to just want to get rid of me and my friend as soon as possible. If I could go back in time, I’d stay as far as possible from this place. It was my last night in Norway and it was a horrible way to close a lovely trip.

Had not visited Habibi since it was at Storgata. Was very surprised at a very nice room (they should get away the remains of O`Learys that was in these rooms earlier).
We were welcomed by very friendly and charming surrete waiters.
Stay in a very good mood by people who want their guests the best without always having knowledge of everything possible. The most important thing is to work to make the overall experience good.
We went for Meze with lots of different dishes. The table was actually too small for all the dishes they brought, one better than the other. They could successfully have a little more in each bowl instead of dividing it into several different plates. Then we would have more room on the table.
In any case, this was a minority that they solved with smiles and laughter. A little slow with the attention around the drink on the table. We'd probably have drank twice as much as we did if they had followed me, and got a brilliant Palestinian beer anyway.
Belly dance was also on the show and it is surprisingly fun.
I highly recommend Habibi. The couple we went with was back there the week after with a visit from Sweden. Again, they were super pleased.
The price level is nothing to say about and the atmosphere is good.
The food holds high class. There are so many good tastes:-)

Quickly got drinks and recommended Lebanese beer, - quickly we got over 20 bowls of different dishes on the table which all tasted fantastic, as well as grilled tenderloin which was absolutely superb! The dish was called Mezah with grill, highly recommended!!

This restaurant is down a bit of an enclosed alley which will drive your GPS crazy. The place was packed, but they did manage a table for us. I suggest making a reservation. I found the staff to be quick and efficient. You can order the smaller plates but we ordered larger dinner portions, mostly because we were afraid that all the smaller plates would not fit on the table.

The ambience of the place, as well as the people who worked there was very sweet and friendly. Unfortunately the food was mediocre, ingredients don't feel fresh, a lot of pre-bought items such as the pita breads. The meal overall did not feel balanced in terms of seasoning, and was just very oily and processed. We had the chicken screwers and the dolma plate.
