Fire place and old rooms make a great scene for the lamb burger that just tasted awesome!! Tables were reserved for later but that was no problem! Worth a visit!

Loved the food, and that it was local and fresh. The restaurant was a calm oasis in the buzz of Oslo, lovely candlelit wooden tables, and friendly staff. Not many English-language Xmas menus to share between our big group, and long queue at the bar,...More

For my first time in Oslo, I asked a colleague for a typical place to eat norwegian food. We had the "Pinnekjøtt med kålrabistappe, vossakorv pølse og poteter" dish which -- if I got it right -- consists in lamb ribs, sausage and potatoes and...More

The restaurant is in a heritage protected building built around 1730. It has an interesting history and I just loved the old timber beams and in places sloping floor. It added to the atmosphere. The food was, by Norwegian standards, not expensive. I had slow...More

Even if this place has a backyard with outdoor seating and the weather is nice, you can easily find a better place. The staff is extremely rude, and the food barely eadible. The ketchup bottle exploded all over my dress, and rather than being concerned,...More

Dear customer, We are sorry for the trouble we coursed. We would also like to comment on some of your points: 1. We checked our bottles with ketchup after the incident and bought a new ones. 2. Our barmen meant it was better to go...More

I went there again, this time with my friends. We were sitting outside in a beer garden by that great weather. Service was very friendly as they could read in my mind. I got a salad prepared on my own wish. Was delicious. Additionally the...More

One of the most cozy places that I know of in Oslo. A big backyard that takes you away from the crowded streets of Grønland, and gives you a feeling of being transported 150 years back in time. Good beer and good food, with a...More

This is an old building with a lot of history in its walls. It was used as a asylum for kids. They have a nice backyard with lots of tables. You place your order inside with the counter and bring with you the food/drinks. We...More
