I am a huge fan of the seasonal method of eating in Norway and the menu was reflective of all that is good for the holiday season. I very much enjoyed the venison and the reindeer. It was cooked to perfection and the side of potatoes and green beans were simple but complementary.

La Brasserie and Mona Lisa Oslo - are two nice restaurants under the same roof. My favourite food : FILETTO D’ANGELLO CON ROSMARINO E AGLIO

I had the best bouillabaisse at La Brasserie, It had a light base instead of the usual tomato base, was simply delicious. I am a woman of a 'certain' age, travelling alone - the waiter - whose name I unfortunately didn't get - was extremely attentive, the accompanying wine was very good and the restaurant is charming with crystal chandeliers.... We visited here on the first night of our holiday as it was close to the hotel and very rainy, and it turned out to be a decent choice. Menu is pretty extensive and it offers Norwegian food alongside the French menu (though it does seem to have a French touch). The food was very nice and the portions were... More

Our order was carried out relatively fast and the food tasted good, a bit cold though. Staff kept overlooking us and didn't communicate with us, had to ask for something to eat with..as did others. Probably won't go back..

Went here for lunch. Ordred salad with duck breast and white wine. Terrible food - definately not fresh. The duck was like chewing gum. The service was even worse, the servers chose to be hidden (guess they knew about the lack of quality of their food). Will definately not come back.

The online booking system through "Bookatable" only allowed some predefined menues. No worries, - the friendly staff was very flexible. We got a table too close to the door, - and with -5 degrees Celsius outside we felt the cold every time the door was opened. No problem, - staff instantly gave us another table. The first glass of the... More

Arrived at the restaurant at early evening, on arrival we asked the staff if they had a table for 3. After a long stare at the watch (we presumed it was almost closing), we were rather unenthusiastically offered a table. We ordered Coq au Vin, Mussels and a burger. The food arrived extremely promptly with no smiles from the staff.... More

La Brasserie is on the ground floor with 260 sittings and is a very busy popular place with homemade french food. We have an outside sitting area where you can see and be seen in a walking street just near the Parlament and Eger Shopping.
