On a stopover in Oslo before continuing on with a tour booking. Went searching for a place close to hotel. Found this restaurant in railway station precinct. Service was good and food really nice. The house red was very good. Only issue (typical Oslo one)...was that it was a bit pricey. Enjoyed our meal and good service.More
I don't eat pork, so I asked them if they could make a dish without i (replace with beef) - but everything is premade, so the answer was "no".
I ordered something vegetarian, and got it after a few minutes. The pasta was not al-dente...as you may expect from an Italian restaurant. It really didn't taste anything expect of the parmesan cheese. The service is poor as well. This is in my opinion the worst resturant in Østbanehallen. Stay away.More
We were in Oslo overnight while on a trip through Scandinavia. This place was recommended by our travel director as reasonable and near our lodging.
My wife and I both chose the Carbonara pasta as our main dish and both of us were impressed by...how good it was. We have no had better since our trip tp Tuscany a couple years ago. Most of the evening was a blur because of the jet lag and wine, but the meal stood out.
I don’t know about other dishes, as we only had the one meal. If you are staying nearby, it might be worth a try.More
