The food at Vega are good almost everytime. There has been a few time when there have been little to choose from, but usually the food are so good that I always end up eating to much.

Always looking for vegan food when in Oslo, so I´ve tried Vega Fairfood 5-6 times. It´s sloppy and more a cheap canteen buffet than proper restaurant. If you a famish vegetarian a Sunday evening i Oslo, there is not much choice and it´s inexpensive. They do Take Away.

Visited alone, not difficult to find despite reviews saying so on here as there are signs all along the hill until the door itself. The 'blue light' in the toilet maybe set the tone as the only enjoyable aspect of the trip remained the price - just over £11 for a buffet. Not too much choice; one soup, salad and... More

Visited here after finding it on trip advisor and wanting to support a veggie restaurant. The place is nothing to rave about and the food did all seem to taste very similar. Decor was a little odd and it felt like a soup kitchen. Not the best veggie food. But there were some lovely salads to eat. The buffet is... More

Olso is a tricky city for vegetarians/vegans and so Vega Fairfood is a most welcome discovery. Oslo is also incredibly expensive, which makes Vega Fairfood even better value being that it is a buffet. Dinner prices are 135 NOK ($20 USD) per person. There's plenty of options to choose from including at least 3 or 4 warm options (such as... More

It's not easy finding good veggie food in Oslo. Vega Fairfood is a real gem: not only does it offer delicious grub, it's also great value for money. For 100 NOK (or 135 NOK if you're visiting for dinner) you can stuff yourself happy with food from the buffet. When we were there, the selection included a delicious chilli, an... More

Here you can pay 12€ for lunch and 16€ for dinner and eat as much as you want. I can assure you that this is a dream in a city like Oslo. You can choose among a salad buffet plus a selection of warm meal: there is always one soup, bread with butter, and then usually rice, potatoes, a curry... More

Being vegan in Oslo was difficult, but Vega Fairfood provided a reasonably priced buffet with many vegan options. Charming place with friendly staff. Apple cake was delicious!

the salad bar is worth going for. out of the very few vegan places this is one of the better ones. good deal for oslo too. the hot food is pretty oily and nothing is labeled - gluten free/vegan etc. the outside seating is nice. the staff basically leaves you alone. Go for lunch not dinner- it closes early and... More
