My husband and I, along with two other couples, dined at the historical Grefsenfollen Restaurant on a Saturday evening. We chose the location because of its reputation of having a wonderful view of the city of Oslo and the Oslo Fjord. Indeed the view of the sunset and city was lovely, but the best part of the evening was the... More

Wonderful view, nice place. In summer it is rather different to how it is the rest of the year. More low key cheap stuf, order at the bar and only pizza. Still worth a trip though. (In winter it is a more high end restaurant.)

I never regret coming back here. The view is spectacular, the building is romantic, the food is excellent and the service is outstanding, meaning efficioent, quick and friendly. Not to be missed!

This restaurant, overlooking the Norwegian capital, gives you everything; top food, nice staff, amazing view and traditional architecture. Hard to get up there unless you have a car, buses are not that frequent, but really worth the trip.

boyfriend and i had a lovely time amid the weather. we were at the Terrassen. Pizza was good. atmosphere was awesome. one thing i can comment negatively on is that we had to order from the bar, so it was constant walking to and fro all the time. they serve it on your table, but when you're a bit far... When I booked our reservation for the Grefseskollen I have to admit it was primarily for the view out over the Oslo Fjord,, and the fact that they were Michelin-starred was a bonus that meant the meal would be dependably good. I was truly not prepared for the experience that a six-course meal at the Grefseskollen is! Masterfully crafted dishes,... More

Order a table in advance ( can be complete full ) and take a taxi to this very extraordinary place on the top of the city i forest surroundings. Great food and wine and top service inside. During summertime ( May - September ) you can also sit outside either under roof with electric heating or "really" outside and eat... More

This historical building has a lot of charme but also the greatest food, wine and service. We were invited to a private party and enjoyed a three course dinner with excellent wines with it. The waiters was service minded and attentive while still discrete. The Michelin recommendation is well deserved.

Don't miss this place! At the top of the hill overlooking Oslo. An incredible view and a delicious meal. They change the menu daily. We were there for lunch. We ordered the fish soup of the day. (Don't mistake this for an appetizer, it was a meal by itself.) It also came with bread. Wonderful! During the summer there is... More
