I’ve been to Ruffino a couple of times, and really enjoyed my meals. Good, not mainstream Italian dishes, for instance black triangoli stuffed with monkfish with a tomato seafood sauce. Delicious! Very professional and competent waiters. And a large selection of Italian wines. Prices are...More

The service was impeccable. Welcoming staff and friendly waiter. The restaurant was packed, but the waiter was never far away or to busy. Sadly I was not overwhelmed by the food. The bruschette was classical tomato and garlic, olivepate and one ... it might have...More

Table at four o'clock. Staff was eager and received us in italian which gave the genuinity. Polite waiter spoke english and made some recommodations. I.e Spaghetti alla Ruffino; so al dente and tasty. Paired with a recommended white wine. Definitely coming back!

We were lucky enough that they could squeeze us in late on a Saturday. You might expect the staff to be frazzled and the kitchen to be sloppy by that time, but it was absolute perfection. I enjoyed the carpaccio starter but the real winner...More

This is a very traditional Italian restaurant. Choice of food is excellent. I started with a a small dish of fresh scallops followed with a fillet of beef (Filetto a modo tuo) with fresh made Gorgonzola sauce. The waiters here know there business and that...More

Just couldn’t resist writing a short review after another terrific dining experience at this cozy, authentic Italian, family-run restaurant. Our group of 5 enjoyed traditional antipasto, Gnocchi, ravioli and spaghetti Ruffino. Attentive service and great wine rounded off a top evening. I’ll be back!

No parking that we saw, but it's located on a corner close to the main commons area in the city center, just a few blocks away from the National Theater, where I believe there's a subway stop.
