You get what it says, but the execution of both the meat and most of the sides could be so much better. Very nice service. Good size.

Maybe the shortest menu I have ever seen is a great concept. However, being Norway, consistent quality meat can be hard to find. Even for professionals. I have been eating three times at Trancher and on this last visit the meat was not better than ok. My kid complained that his dad cooks better beef. Too bad as I think... More

A lovely restaurant with good tentative service and great atmosphere. They srrve Entrecôte cooked over a longer period of time with different sides. I live this place for a dinner with friends, family or a romantic evening.

I really don't know why this place continue to get good reviews. Maybe it is because we Norwegians are brought up on low quality meat and this place deliver a bit better that 'Terrible', or because I have been very unfortunate when visiting. I have eaten in this place 2 times the past year, and both times the meat has... More

The experience was superb all around! The atmosphere combined with the excellent food (the really know what are doing) made this a truly delightful visit. Not to mention the excellent service wich was always present, but never intrusive. Our waitress was very attentive and professional, and we never had to ask for anything,

We visited this restaurant many times. The meat was of a great quality (9 out of 10 times). The atmosphear was nice, welcoming, the meny was simple, and you do not wait long time to get food. The staff is very nice, friendly and care about guests.

My experience here was amazing. Best prepared and cooked steak in town! Great variety of side dishes (ordered individually) and you choose your entrecote prepared however you like it. Great for birthdays, celebrations, dates, business, or simply because you deserve it.

The place is cozy, nice and with good food. We visited this restaurant several times and all the time, went home happy and satisfied. The service was good, and food served with good deserts. Do not forget the creme brulee.

I was eager to try out Trancher, a steakhouse that has only one item on the menu: Filet mignon, slow-cooked, with an a la carte selection of sauces and sides. I'd read raving reviews and disappointed reviews. My meal was great as far as the sauces and sides were concerned: really nice (and crisp), thin green beans wonions, and potatoes... More

If you love entrecôte's do not miss this restaurant. The side dishes and source can be improved but still hold a high level and again the meat are superb.
