My daughter and I had a good lunch after visiting the Opera, and looking back towards the same harbour area. The area has several types of food from different suppliers, we tried ordinary burgers and toast. They took Corona times very seriously, all orders from...your mobile phones at the table. Quite large portions surprised us, pictures showed less food than what arrived. Normally the opposite is the case. No gourmet, but good taste.More

After visiting both Oslo Street Food and Vulkan Mathallen the expectations where high on visiting Salt. Great location and super concept, but a real disappointment when it comes to the food. Not mutch to choose from, long delivery times and only the spring rolles met...our expectations.More

Laidback, nice and friendly. Cool staff, good food, and Lervig beer on the list. We love this kind of DIY interior

If anybody suggest that you eat here; scream loudly and run in the opposite direction. The food is terrible!

Waiting 1 hour for a drink and 2,5 hours for a cold burger is abysmal. The waiters don’t know where the tables are and spend 70% of their time looking for the table. Poor logistics and bad waiters make for a lousy experience.

Didn't know what to expect from Salt Sauna, we went there on our 3-day trip in Oslo in February 2020 but from the website it sounded like fun. And it was just amazing! I can imagine that in summer it's much more lively than on...a winter weekend evening. How you put away your things in a big bag and locked them, was interesting, but the sauna house itself looks great and best place for relaxing and chilling with soft ambient music in background. We enjoyed it a lot! There was also a small traditional sauna and we were invited to a 20 minutes sauna session. Liked all of it. Thanks a lot for the experience! :)More

First visit here was in the summer, lots of activities, music, dancing, food etc. Had a return visit this February and pleased to see Salt was still open in the winter even if scaled back a bit. Lots seemed to be enjoying the Saunas but...some like me just wanted to sit outside by the fire with a beer. Great view over to the Opera and new museum. There was a restaurant /ber if you wanted to stay out of the cold. Very chilled place for sure.More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna experience that SALT has to offer. We went for a New Year's eve sauna session of three hours with a very affordable price and in a nice ambient. It is important to bring your own swimming suit...and slippers, the towel and padlock you can rent for a price of 5€. The sauna was amazing with the drinks and the view - what a way to end the year! :)More

Great Sauna place, perfect for Children in the morning. We visited 9 am, where there were few people. Our children 2 and 4 years old stayed in the lower part of the Sauna and I and my wife stayed higher up where it was warmer....You get a lovely view of the Opera and an interesting view of the DFDS ferry terminal. The afternoon I think is more bussy and not good for children. Entrance is free for children.More

What an amazing place. Norwegian culture at its best. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a sauna whilst taking in the beautiful Oslofjord scenery. The ambience was lovely and the staff and very friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to witness and traditional...Norwegian sauna ritual involving essential oils and pine fir - and amazing experience, especially as we here visiting at Christmas. If you like Art, music, culture and you enjoy relaxing then this is the place for you.More
