yes I will tell friends and family about my bad experince in respect of service and atmosphere. Especially when paying and tipping 15% not a word was said like thank you or welcome back and wether we had enjoyed the visit. Not even a good...bye! This is the least one could expect from a decent restaurant with such prices. Very unusual!More

We read online that therer were a 200 kr fee if fewer people than reserved for showed up (per person). We had reserved a table for 6, but one person couldn't make it. We therefore decided to call in advance to let them know that...we were going to be one less person. When We arrived at the restaurant We were told that we had not called about the number of people, in stead they claimed that we had called to say that we were ten minutes late. We kept saying that this wasn't the case, but the employee insisted that we did not warn them about the one person who didn't show.. in the end we didn't have to pay the fee , but it was a lousy experience with a lot of unnecessary arguing....More

In the middle of the post-covid summer, it was nearly impossible to find a place in Oslo on one night's notice for a family gathering of 7 people for dinner, so we felt fortunate to get a reservation at Tatakii. We were thankful to be...able to eat out together, and the outdoor seating was comfortable, but that's about all that was good to say about our experience. The menu is *extremely* limited, and not particularly vegetarian or pescatarian friendly. The food was very salty and mostly just flavored with soy sauce. Service was excrutiatingly slow (although courteous). The price for the meal was not at all in line with the quality of the food or service.More

Too close to a busy road, this resaurant provides a kind of boring / incomplete menu. Impossible to say whether food is expensive or cheap because the menu had no intention of explaining the meals or the size of them. And when the waitor was...so difficult to understand, it had to be some misunderstandings as well. When one of us were given the wrong dish, our waitor immediately blamed it on her. In addition, no one told us/guided us about hos it was normal to order. Main courses delivered as starter, non-fried sushi mixup and two of us ended up feeling hungry after ordering two dishes. Plusses: food came quite quickly. Moneybag is VERY good Lammecarré is good Drinking menu Btw: OMG they refilled our glasses with water ALL the time. Quite funny in the beginning, but it ended up being a bit annoying…More

For my New Year's Eve birthday, I and my two sons were looking forward to a 5-course menu at Tatakii. I thought the set price of 890 kr was bit steep, but it was after all a special occasion. It was a set menu, but...I informed the restaurant before-hand that I was pescatarian. They assured me that I would receive alternatives to the meat dishes. In short, the whole experience was marred by the terrible service and reluctance to take reponsibility and offer compensation. There was an hour and a half to wait between the first and second course. After an hour I would have normally just walked out, but I'd had to pay a 1200 kr deposit to secure the table, so we decided to just wait. After the third course, the server asked whether we were ready for dessert. I had to point out that there should have been one other course before dessert. When that fourth (meat) course eventually arrived, the server explained that they didn't have a non-meat alternative for me, but that I would get 150 kr deducted from the bill. So my sons ate, and I just sat and watched them. We would have been better off if we'd joined the constant stream of customers who had wisely ordered TakeAway. They seemed to be getting prioritised attention over those of us who were seated in the restaurant. An offered explanation and apology (instead of waiting for ust to complain) and perhaps a free drink whilst we were waiting between courses would have shown some consideration and made us feel less like second class customers.More

Visiting the outdoor part of this restaurant on a warm summer evening will give you an outstanding experience in Oslo. An Asian style menu predominantly presenting a good variation of seafood dishes but also meat for the carnivores. Personally I recommend their set menu which...gives you a chance to taste various types of food and flavors to a reasonable price. The service was excellent and the food was presented in the most delicate way.More

I came here with some girl friends to celebrate the end of a school year and we were promised a table outside. Much to our surprise we were seated at a table inside, where it was dark and cold. Furthermore, the chairs were difficult to...move and we were obviously seated as close enough together as possible to make room for more customers. Not good for social distancing! The cheapest thing on the dinner menu is a 6-piece maki for 160kr? This sounded very expensive for 6 small bites of rice and seaweed and so I ordered a wok. I ordered the veggie-wok which tasted so bad, I took 2 bites and left. Since when did tofu, red bell peppers and a few pieces of broccoli constitute a wok? This restaurant is not suitable for vegetarian guests.More

This restaurant has moved in the old location of one of Oslo's most popular Asian restaurants Nodee. Nodee was quite an institution - being a high-end Asian restaurant popular with the rich and famous. Tatakii is copying the concept and it's in many ways very...similar to Nodee, but unfortunately it cannot compare. They had an interesting cocktail menu, but the drinks lacked that extra touch and detail that makes a cocktail really special. The food was mostly good, but the presentation was bland and boring. The restaurant was worn down and it did not look like anything had been done since Nodee moved out a couple of years ago. Nodee had style and a bit of elegance to it. The place is now too worn down. The toilets are a joke, so small and tiny. It was not a bad experience, but I was not particularly impressed either - so if you're looking for an Asian restaurant in Oslo I would try Sawan, Nodee (at new location) or Hanami. The name is funny because in Norwegian it is basically saying "to fix", and yes there is a lot to be fixed for this restaurant to be a winner!More

Went there with a friend for a Friday evening of great food. So, this restaurant used to be named Nodee, and was one of the original Asian fusion restaurants in Oslo, and still serve great food in a great atmosphere. Mostly frequented by locals in...Majorstuen and Frogner. Up market place but with a more relaxed atmosphere than for instance Hanami or Sawan. The food is great, service is excellent, and the price is also good. All in all, a great evening, in good company with great food (we shared a crispy duck). Highly recommended.More

Entered this evening on a Sunday and were met by a waitress at the reception whom was polite but could have expressed a bit more visual interest. Rather dark surroundings, but comfortable seating and low background music was nice. Perfect food! Crispy duck good, but...on the dry side. All in all an above average experience.More

Takakii is one of the trendy restaurants in Oslo. A group of 7 had dinner there last night. A group menu, with different courses to share. Fushion means in my mind that the cooking is not distintive Asian but a mixture. Not spicy, yet tasty...and elequent.More
