We came for lunch and outside at the patio in front. Great location on a square with a fountain. Somewhat near the fortress castle. We had the sampler plate which let you try all of the traditional food.

If you're in Oslo looking for a nice, romantic restaurant with excellent food and service. The signature "fishy" soup is really tasty.

Visited Engebret Café at the Norwegian Constitution Day. Waited forever at a table but no service whatsoever. In the end we just left. Extremely unprofessional.
