A group of us turned up only to be told that our booking was not there. In the end, the restaurant eventually accommodated us and we had fabulous food and complimentary drinks. The decor is lovely and the staff were great.

So on a month long Scandinavia tour. Our last night in Oslo. Pre booked group dinner. Ah maybe not. They booked it for 2019 not 2018. Soooooo hungry but gave us free alcohol as compensation

We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a dinner location. It’s a quiet, pleasant location and the service was very good. The food was incomparable - excellent preparation and presentation, and the portions generous. The pricing was reasonable by Norwegian standards.

A real find. We ate at 6.30 pm on a Tuesday. At this time the restaurant was quiet. We appeared to be the only foreigners in the restaurant. The decor was very restful, subdued and pleasant. The service was friendly, knowledgable and leisurely. This is...More

Very good!!! We use to go there twice a year to eat fish, Lutefisk and lamb, Fårikål. Typical norwegian food in November and December. One of the best places in Oslo.

We went to eat here after reading the menu on the street. The TA reviews were not as positive or plentiful as for Engelebar down the street, but it seemed more casual and still good, so we went here. The food was really good. We...More

I went there with friends. What we found was an old but stylish furnished restaurant with that flair of Norwegian history. Great service, very attentive, friendly, making jokes, but everything extremely professional. I felt like in a restaurant with 5-6 stars! On the other table...More

We ate there real well - good service, nice selection of drinks. Only disadvantage - even though the reataurant was empty at lunch, we were cramped in a corner. Just like they needed to male space for lots of people...

We went here for lunch. It is a fine classic designed place, in a very old building. We had good quality lunch for a decent price. Staff was very friendly and spoke a wide range of languages besides Norsk and English.
