Went for lunch and wasn't disappointed, the food was good and local, it did however take a while to get it. Loved the interior, perfect for this type of establishment.

I ordered carpaccio for the main course. I didn’t look thoroughly at the menu because…..hey….who can screw up a carpaccio? But it was molested with fried crispy onions. I was not amused by this attempt of making something “new and daring”. The meat was not...tender at all and I had to use force to cut it. The wine was excellent. Main course was grilled whale. We all wanted to try it but they only had 2 left. So I got one and sort of regretted it. The sauce was very strong and totally overpowered the taste of the meat. The dessert was excellent. Chocolate cake with sorbet. The bread for the starter was also really good! Probably not coming back.More

Visited as part of a large group and despite this the service here was excellent. The atmosphere was great. The menu was simple and featured local specialities. Wine menu was excellent but as with all in Norway was really expensive!! Everyone enjoyed their meal, no...one was disappointed.More

Went for a burger and a beer with some friends in November. Great food, very friendly and helpful staff. They did not have the Nordlandspils when we went, but they recommended and let us taste a few other beers to help us find something we...could enjoy. Will definitely return!More

Really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant at the back of the bar. Delicious food and good service. Friendly but attentive. The bar however was not as welcoming and my glass of fizz was quite flat. Bit of a contrast to the restaurant.

This is one of the better places in Bodø. For both drinks and food. The have an excellent range of good beers. Both from their own production as well as general brands. Food is very good too.

This place was recommended to me by locals, and walking in, it certainly looked impressive and promising. Dark and cozily lit, nice decorations and furnishings, candles, fur pelts, and tasteful wall art. Our first impression was made at our leisure while we stood around in...the foyer waiting to be acknowledged. Apparently we stood in the wrong place because the hosting table was located deeper in the restaurant by the bar. My first caution flag went up when we (eventually) received the "menu". One page. A starter, six entrees, a salad, and a dessert. All of it was dressed up pub food (burgers, fish and chips, soup) which was ok, but the prices were up jumped also and it was not anything special. Food was to be ordered by phone app, which the server enthusiastically informed unknowing customers about. The selection of drinks here were good, and I think that the serving of alcohol was the primary objective of this place rather than food. Perhaps I just selected the wrong place for a good meal.More

Had an absolutely awful experience visiting this place which was a shame as it looked like a really cool pub. However, the service was so bad. Firstly, the waitress said she would come and take our orders which she never did. We waited for 15...min before we realized she wasn’t coming, therefore we ordered from the QR-code at the table and waited 40 min for our food and drinks before we complained. They told us the system was down and that we needed to order at the bar. The worst thing is that they had so much staff but almost any costumers. That whole time we waited we never saw them pick up any glasses or clean, or even let the other costumers that came in know what was going on. They let all the customers sit there forever waiting for their food and drinks while all the staff was hanging in the bar having a chat. We decided to order at the bar because we were so hungry at that point and they said we we’ll get the money we paid with Vipps the first time back which we still haven’t received. I have tried contacting them through different social media platforms and sent mails to both the manager and the pub without receiving any replies. They still owe me money today.More

The ornament and decoration are nice, however, the place is too dark for me. Food is not something to remember forever. Good burgers and a huge variety of beer including several home-made. The staff is not permanent, thus depends on the day you may be...lucky enough, or not... Prices are at the Norwegian standard. Just for guidance, drinks 10 to 15 euros, single main 20 to 60 euros from nachos to fish respectively.More

Dropped by for a dinner on a Thursday evening. One is immediately struck by how large the place is. One can sit outside for a drink and a smoke. One can go inside and have a regular dinner table on the first floor. One could...go upstairs in one end of the second floor and have a cup of coffee in a corner with a friend. Or one could sit in the other end of the second floor and have a beer in one of the sofa-sections. Or for that matter, one could rent the glass room and have a private gathering in the middle of the restaurant, cut off but still a part of the restaurant. The food was lovely. I had the clipfish for dinner and the fried pear for dessert. The clipfish came with potatoe puree, tomatoe paste and olives. Not very original flavour combinations for clipfish, but done in a more modern way than the traditional soup-dish. The fried pear was a real treat, combined with a hazel nut crumble and milk chocolate ice cream. The size of the portions was decent, as was the price. The interior is rustique, with darker colors and lovely yellow light from the light bulbs. With lots of seating to choose between, as well as a lovely view from the windows, it is a type of place one could spent many hours just sitting back and enjoying the ambience. Where's the fire place though? Places such as these should have complulsory fire places. The staff was quick, and the ordering procedure was simple enough, though digital, which can be frustrating for someone like me which enjoys the service a good waiter can offer. There is almost zero contact with any of the staff, as they only bring the food to the table and nothing else. No giving out menus, no taking drink order, no small talk, no asking how the food was, not even a bringing the bill to the table. A sad consequence of the pandemic, I guess. Still, I did miss the human touch. A decent place to go spend a few hours, whatever it is that you crave for. Maybe not the place for more celebratory meals, the lack of customer follow-up negatively affects the impression of being catered to. But for more informal gatherings, absolutely superb.More

Had a guys dinner for 20 guys a Saturday in July. Very good service in advance with booking and a good table arranger in middle of restaurant. We had the taste of Hundholmen and the Wine Package. The fish soup starter was good, but followed...by an amazing first Main, the clipfish...mmm divine tastes. This was followed by josper grilled meat and sausage which was also tasty, but a bit small, and then a very nice bread and cheese plate. Finally a white chocolate dessert. All in all a very good 5 course and the wine pairings for the 4 last courses were excellent, especially the red wine for the clipfish and the port for the dessert. The service surfered a bit in the END when the restaurant transitioned to a nightclub at 23:00. Wouls have been 5/5 if the second main was a bit larger and service kept up until ens. Total cost around 1800 nok per personMore
