The atmosphere is nice and friendly. Thought the recommended wine was excellent but expensive at 5,90 for a small glass. The pizza was tasty but the base was a bit too thick and doughy for my liking, but it did fill me up.
We went there after a beautiful walk in Prater.
It was in a dark tiny street so you have to find it with Google maps. (It only takes 5/10 minutes by foot from Prater).
There are both expensive and cheap plate.
Hamburger, chicken, salmon but...even pasta and pizza
Good selection of bier and other alcoholic drinks!
It is opened until 00.00 (the kitchen only until 22.30) and that's fantastic because here in Vienna everything closes early.
After having dinner we stayed here and order other drinks, as long as it is also a bar.
The stuff is really nice
We paid 20 for 2 bier each and a huge fantastic tasty plate!More
We visited Vienna for a Xmas break with friends and stayed in the Ibis. Initially we looked for somewhere with a better breakfast and discovered Mozaik only 500m from the hotel. It quickly became our "go to" restaurant and we went back several times for...evening meals too. It has a wonderful combination of warmth and hospitality, great staff and really good food. I honestly couldn't fault it and hence it gets a rare 5 stars from me. The staff speak good English too which was a bonus. Try it! You won't be disappointed. Great Wiener Schnitzel and Apfel Strudel!More
The restaurant is near the Prater. It has the best food, not only in that district , but also maybe in Vienna. Portions are very large, which is not very usual in tourist cities, like this one, but surprisingly very affordable. I will definitely come...back, every time I miss real homemade food.More
Visiting Prater in Vienna is a must, and Mozaik, a Greek-inspired restaurant nearby, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some amazing food. The location was beautiful the kindness of the waiter, Alexander, who also speaks a bit of Italian, made us feel at...home. We started off enjoying a delicious homemade lemonade and an Italian style cappuccino that turned out to be the most beautiful and tasteful cappuccino in town. But the food was the real deal: the "Beef-Steak Salat" and the grilled chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese filling turned were, hands down, the best street food we had in Vienna. Amazing taste, fresh ingredients, large portions, the excellent homemade bread (including the delicious pita-pizza base style of the steak salad) were just incredible. You can't miss this place!
We have left the restaurant after more than forty minutes because nobody asked if we wanted to have dinner. The staff was sitting outside on the terrace, and the waiter pretended not to be there. I don't recommend it to anyone.
