The atmosphere is nice and friendly. Thought the recommended wine was excellent but expensive at 5,90 for a small glass. The pizza was tasty but the base was a bit too thick and doughy for my liking, but it did fill me up.

We had just arrived in Vienna, and could not yet check in to our hotel, and had just enough time to try to find something eat. Found this nearby and decided to try it. Many locals as well, so took it as a good sign. They do have English menus and the young woman serving us spoke decent English as well. We ordered the schnitzels, which were both huge and tasty. Unsurprisingly, the pork one was better than the chicken one. They happily accommodated us a salad as a side that wasn’t necessarily on the menu. We were a bit worried walking into a random tavern, but were pleasantly surprised, and definitely sold on the concept of schnitzel.

Small friendly place in the quiet street close to Prater

Nice place with very friendly staff. Will satisfy taste buds of those who are after traditional Austrian meaty dishes, but also those who would rather go for lighter salad based dishes. The only thing we did not enjoy was the choice of music (same opinion amongst the adults and also our teenager), however it was not too loud at least. Over all thank you.

well worth a visit

Sunday finds many restaurants closed in Vienna, especially in smaller neighborhoods outside of the downtown district. with web help we found this place. a short walk from our hotel that had a menu of items up our alley. salads, pastas, Austrian dishes, pizza, etc. only one other table occupied in the sidewalk dining area and none inside the too hot seating there. our server was a very personable and helpful young man answering all our questions with ease. my DW chose her usual fave, pasta bolognese. she enjoyed it very much. I was craving some veggies or greens but also something light so I chose a cucumber, tomato, and onion salad-similar to a Greek, hold the feta-with grilled chicken strips. We had seen entrees come to the other occupied table so we had an idea of the portion sizes served but when ours came it was wow. my salad was a large plate covered with bright chunks of tomato and cukes, with red onion and also some unlisted green peppers. No problem there. Then on top were about a dozen at least thin strips of freshly grilled chicken breast, clearly hand cut from an actual breast before cooking. The dressing was light but with a nice herbaceous note again similar to a typical Greek salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I tore this salad down to the plate and it couldn’t have been more perfect for what was looking for. We enjoyed our experience here and would return and recommend easily.

On the morning of my booking they sent me an email at 1.35pm telling me that if I didn't reply and reconfirm by 2pm they would consider the booking cancelled. Not happy at 4.30pm they sent me a second email that my booking (which was supposed to be for 9.30pm) had to be brought forward to 8.20pm. I had to leave my concert early. But I didn't understand why. Truly an absurd way to behave. I understand that it was New Year's Eve but since I booked 15 days before they could have told me these things after booking and not on the same day

WARM PLACE AND YUMMY FOOD

We went there after a beautiful walk in Prater. It was in a dark tiny street so you have to find it with Google maps. (It only takes 5/10 minutes by foot from Prater). There are both expensive and cheap plate. Hamburger, chicken, salmon but even pasta and pizza Good selection of bier and other alcoholic drinks! It is opened until 00.00 (the kitchen only until 22.30) and that's fantastic because here in Vienna everything closes early. After having dinner we stayed here and order other drinks, as long as it is also a bar. The stuff is really nice We paid 20 for 2 bier each and a huge fantastic tasty plate!

A lovely find

Visited here just before new year and were welcomed by friendly staff. Portions were good and the food was amazing, cooked well and very tasty. A very good atmosphere and would definitely visit again. Staff kept on top of covid regulations and asked us for our vaccination certificates. Felt safe and restaurant was clean. Thanks for a good visit, happy new year.

Really good chicken schnitzel! It comes with fries or salad and sauce. Kind and warm staff. I had lunch alone and the waiter kindly kept company to me. Recommended.

Recommend dinner, 24.12 cristmas Eve. Very good portion in did, taste and size except the salad that was a little "tired" 2 people, cristmas Eve, 2 main course, 2 wine glasses, 1 greec salad, 1 espresso 88 euro

Basic restaurant, but was tasty and very nice

Restaurant have pretty basic dishes (Schnitzel, pasta, pizza, etc). the waitress was nice, food was good and we enjoyed it. we didn't expect much when we got there.
