This café has received great reviews and is in one of the books I trust to find new, go-to cafés. I was originally going for their coffee. However, the real show stopper are the special cool beverages that they serve up, which my husband could not resist. The coffee, which I had high hopes for was fine, but nothing extraordinary.... Was here a few days ago while on vacation. We stopped in to get out of the cold! It was really hard to decide what drink to order everything looked so good! my boyfriend had a tea and I had a club mate pomegranate flavor (never saw this flavor so I had to try it) And we shared an apple... More

I really enjoyed drinking chai latte here. It is a place where to meet your friends, take a break if you are a traveler... The relaxed atmosphere, the idea of the cafe bar - a furniture showroom where you can try the objects that you would like to buy, the staff that was fast and with smiley face, overall made... More

Located in a nice part of town, this little cafe is great. It's not too big, but not so small that you can't find a seat. Its only shortcoming is lack of power sockets for those of us who like to work with our laptops.

I have visited the Möbel a few times by now, but only ever for brunch. They have a wicked buffet with savoury and sweet dishes to choose from. They serve various bread from a bun to a dark rye bread, have a large selection of cold cuts and cheeses and heaps of lovely sidedishes like black lentil salad. The waitresses... More

Furniture store which is also a cafe / bar. Nicely decorated, large variety of drinks. Also suitable for midday and for the evening / night. Located on a street which is fun to hang out

My husband and I stopped by for a drink on Saturday night. The drinks offering was good with a nice range of Austrian wines by the glass. The service was quick and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. The homemade lemon tart was really great. The furniture and decor was fun. We will be back for drinks again.

went there with my husband on a sunday at 1 pm, the buffet for the brunch was a bit empty. They had nice cheese and hams, delicious bread, but no fruits,no fresh juices, very little vegetables and the cafe latte tasted of nothing. The atmosphere and decoration is cool, service very kind. Overall a bit disappointing food wise!

We went to the "das Möbel" for some glasses of wine. What can I say: The wine was wonderful, the price more than reasonable and the bar offered free water with the wine. I will definitely come back - maybe also for food.

It was very busy when we dined here, maybe that is the reason for the slowness in our service, but with that being said, the food is delicious! The ambiance was very good and is conveniently located to lots of attractions.

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
