I heard good things about Miznon, seemed like a fun place to go. It was ok at very best, and that is being generous. The menu is small but interesting. The portions are small and edible. Nothing beyond that. Street food is higher and you'd...get a lot better customer service. Here is seems the pricing model is designed to give you a small main, and even smaller side dishes. We were greatly surprised by every aspect of it. The confusion of ordering, the wrong orders of drinks, no cutlery available, had to ask for more, had to get it ourselves, no water available after asking twice, had to queue again after order was wrong. Just confusing, not really enjoyable and everyone left underwhelmed and after spending a lot of money to get a basic snack. For €30 for 1 person for 1 main, 1 side and drink, eating on a small table, wedged in and with no waiter service, I'd say do this to yourself if you want to punish yourself a little. I can't imagine ever going back, and definitely can't recommend it to others.More
We really enjoyed this innovative veggie restaurant. Tasty, nourishing and healthy. We could have done with more napkins to clean up sticky fingers but thats a minor niggle. If you are near Stephansdom give it a try!
Having visited Miznon in various other cities. It’s not the type of restaurant you go to expecting good service. Today the service was also not great, staff inattentive and when issues were raised the waiter was almost patronising. We were sat in the back, where...it seems the toilets were faulty. The stench was unbearable at times, staff were not bothered and did nothing to assure us they were trying to solve the situation. Not exactly what you want when you are about to eat lunch with a group of friends you have travelled to see. Also from an establishment serving food the extreme smell of blocked toilets Does not fill you with confidence on the hygiene standards of the restaurant. Starting to get tired of the poor service and average food, would not recommend.More
The food was really good but the portions are very small. Its a bit costy consider that it a selfservive. Social distancing does not exist infavt they have a big table and anyone can come to sit near you
Went for a quick lunch into this restaurant. Found it through reviews and when i went in the place looked immediately busy. We found a place on a long shared table and placed our order at the bar. Food was delivered after a few minutes....Food was very good, the sauces excellent. The place is surely worth a visit. Prices are quite high comparing to the food ate. I took the pitta filled with lamb and vegetables. Not enough to fill me in but very very good.More
Wonderful food, good service and nice seating. Have not ever before eaten any food dron tje region that is similarly good.
I never felt so welcomed into an establishment in all my years. We were skeptical given it's location in the centre of the tourist zone but there was so much happiness in the staff and the incredible aromas lured us in. Miro the Manager was...especially accomodating. The food was packed with delightful flavours. Ultra fresh ingredients. I would rate this restaurant a 10, it is an injustice to limit it to just a 5. I look forward to my next meal at Miznon.More
We passed it a few times on our way to and from our hotel. Made a resevation for 7:30 pm. In short, the place is a zoo. Apparently no coordination whatsoever. But the food is really amazing. And the order is on time and spot-on....How they do that...beats me..More
A friend recommended this place very close to the stephansdom, so we made a reservation, which was a good choice because it was very lively and busy! When we arrived the service was great and they immediately made a table ready for us. We ordered...different meals like ratatouille, some pitas and some side dishes, and every dish was amazing. We were blown away by the taste and the kind people who worked there, and that for a very fair price! If you are ever in Vienna, you should definitely visit here!More
Very nice pittas both meat or vegetarian and unconventional veggies in a great atmosphere. A perfect choice if you don’t drink beer.
We were definitely rather older than this lively student/young bar with "unusual" food, but we were welcomed and sat at a table with a lovely couple with whom we made good friends - an Albanian living in Vienna and new girlfriend from Israel, very romantic....The food was delicious, the beer selection extensive, the wine good. You have to get used to your name being bellowed from the open kitchen when your food is ready. Great vibeMore
Really enjoyed my lunch here. Though I'm trying to take advantage of all the amazing places to eat around town, I may have to return a second time. Happy there were several vegetarian options.
Stumbled across this little place on our first night. I'm dairy intolerant so this place was perfect! Delicious food and reasonably priced. didn't try their signature dish of the whole cauliflower but the two pitas we had were great. would highly recommend
We ordered two vegetarian pitas, the filling was good but too small the portion for the price (from 8 to 12 €, without meat that is the ingredient that costs more) and considering there is no service at the table. But the choice of food...is big, especiay vegetarian dishes. The cooker with too much beard and hair doesnt wear hygienic haircup...More
