We made a reservation via the pubs official website (reservation request form) and we got a confirmation mail pretty quick. We wanted to celebrate a graduation there. As we got there we were properly seated, we ordered drinks and food (different burgers and sandwiches with...side dishes). For the food we had to wait 45 minutes. After we finished eating we ordered another round of drinks. At that time we were at the restaurant about 90 minutes. What happened next I never experienced in my life: the bartender came to our table with the bill and said we had 10 minutes time to leave (in an unfriendly manner), because the next group is arriving. He asked us if we were informed about that - no we were not! On the website the reservation time limit was not mentioned, it was not mentioned in the confirmation mail we got, nor when we were seated, even not when we ordered our second round of drinks. We were practically thrown out of the place! By the time we got the information three of us had full beers (we then had to chug them down in a couple of minutes). We discussed even having desserts and some of us wanted to order additional drinks. We were not presented any alternative tables. That this place calls itself an Irish pub, insults the hospitality for which the Irish are well known around the world! I am not recommending this place to others, who want to spend a nice easy going evening, since its obviously only interested having as many costumers in the shortest period of time and then throws them out!More

Hi there. Thanks for your feedback. Especially on issues like this, it is really appreciated. We're terribly sorry about the experience you had. Of course you should have been a) informed beforehand and b) offered alternative seating elsewhere in the pub. You mentioned Irish style...More

We dropped in on 23 December and had the buffalo wings, two pulled porks and I had the Bob Marley burger. The latter was very delicious in its brioche bun and it was cooked (oven-baked, not deep-fried) to perfection. We also ordered a few portions...of regular fries and some sweet potato fries. Everything was very tasty and the portions generous. We washed it all down with beer and lemonade (for the kids). The staff were efficient and very friendly. All in all, highly recommended.More

We reserved a table for a Friday late afternoon. Food was great (although the brisket in my 'Mr. Pastrami' sandwich could have been less dry), but the kitchen was a bit slow. It wasn't really a problem for us, as we were having fun, but...once we finished our meal, the waiter informed us that we have to leave in a few minutes because there's another reservation on our table. Mind you, we were ready to order a new round of drinks or two, as well as dessert, but we were practically kicked out. When we asked the waiter if this is their normal policy or just a bad day (the table next to us was also asked to leave due to a new reservation) he said that the person sitting us down was supposed to tell us that we only have less than two hours. When we reminded him that HE actually sat us down, he said he didn't want to rush us and that it should have been enough time for us, and he really didn't seem to care at all that we had to pack and leave. And it wasn't even a game or trivia night, just a normal December Friday. So basically, food is cool, but don't expect a genuine Irish experience, because even if you do reserve a table, it's all about turning tables for them. It really ruined our night and we definitely won't be returning.More

Going to Charlie P's is worth the trip! Great food, reasonable price, and a friendly atmosphere. Can thoroughly recommend the house speciality of the cheeseburger.

Didn’t consider visiting an “Irish” pub while in Vienna but was told of its own craft beers. Their dry Irish Stout on nitro was delicious. Basic pub food, but tasty and fun atmosphere, friendly staff! Indoor nonsmoking is a plus! Fun vibes in bar area.

I don’t normally do reviews as quite frankly I can’t be arsed. But after 3 days desperate for a decent pint, I found this place. Burger was great, but the “hop in the name of love” IPA was exceptional. If you want a decent beer,...check this place outMore

This is what I call a proper Irish pub. Standard beers, crafts, wine, cocktails you name it. The burgers are also amazing.
