Came here for a late dinner (10:30pm), considering most of Vienna closes quite early. The food was tasty and the prices reasonable. Staff were also helpful with explaining the options.

Went here on the last evening of our stay in Vienna. Got a table on the outside terraza. The staff was friendly and the service prompt. Ate here 2 x baby ribs. They were great, cooked well and really liked the marinade. All I hope, is that we would have shared one set instead of ordering our own ones, as... More

It's perfect as a pub, great beers, good food, but don't expect some fancy place. The food portions are huge, service nice and on reasonable speed. Expect it to be full on weekends.

This is THE place to visit for good beer. We didn't eat here as we had already eaten, however unless you want a very smoky experience as the bar is smoking. So I suggest you plan to eat here to allow you to use the upstairs non-smoking restaurant. We sat outside where just managed to get a table, where the... More

Just had a lunch there. Service was fast (though the place was crowded) and courteous. Food was tasty and, considering that wee took the lunch menu, exquisite. In the evening got back and had two beers. Seemed a special place, unfortunately had no time to spend more there seemed lively and social.

Had a lovely summer dinner; enjoyed the Austro/Irish/American fusion meal of curry sausages and an excellent burger. Loved talking about beer with the folks in charge. Our server referred to the place as an American restaurant, but the menu and feel of the place reflected a more euro- fusion vibe.

I decided to celebrate my birthday at this place. I booked a certain table at the corner and the host promised me that table. After we arrived he gave us a table in the middle of the restaurant without explanations. ..we could even leave the place and he didn't say sorry. It's terrible. The stuff was ok, but the anti... First the good - they serve a really good stout so if you're looking for an alternate to Guinness, I can highly recommend it. The food's pretty good as well, reasonable prices and decent sized portions. Now the not so good - it's very smokey - there's no real segregation for non-smokers (apart from upstairs where it's hotter and a... More

We were on a visit in Vienna so somebody suggested that we go to this place, because of the beer and the food, so of course when you are in such a beautiful city you would not mind to go anywhere. We were mostly non-smokers so one unfriendly guy let us upstairs and showed us our table. It was really... More

Were here by the way to the main station. Seen many people in the garden, so decided to try. Compared to other places we visited they had really good (And actually cheap) beer here. Had 2 1,5 litres jugs of beer - good idea and looks funny

Thank Sergej B

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
