Food was really good. Make a reservation as it is a small restaurant and it fills up fast. Reasonably priced.

We wandered in here before the opera and ordered oddly: my daughter had a dumpling soup, and I had a schnitzel with potato salad. My daughter ended eating the potato salad, which was excellent. The service is swift and attentive.

We stayed in a hotel near this restaurant and noticed how busy it always was. We booked up (necessary) and had a wonderful meal, good service, wide range of beers and reasonably priced.

The former owner Hanno suggested we try this "gem". So very glad we did. We were in Vienna for four nights and ate here every night, different dishes to cover the menu. Over that time we chose the garlic soup, the herring , the burrito,...More

Recommended by a local and well worth it. Excellent casual dining, lively atmosphere. Small menu of traditional Austrian favourites, all well cooked. A chatty place.

We liked the buzzy feel to this place. Food is as you would expect and the waiters could have been a bit more smiley but all in all there was something charming about this small eatery.

Small restaurant, so you have to be early, or make a reservation. Professional, relaxed service. Excellent food, - not served "artistic" but presenting itself, - well. Does NOT take credit-cards

Whenever I am in Vienna, this is the place I go in the evenings. Cosy, unpretentious, with lovely Viennese clientele, Viennese traditional food, beautiful local wines. You can either sit at the bar or at small tables if you are on your own, and will...More

We walked in and got some seats at the bar. We were lucky probably to find a place. We ordered the schnitzel - Parmesan soup - beef stroganoff and an almond chocolate dessert. Everything was just right.

We waited for 45 minutes! Yes 45 minutes to sit and eat in here since there was no table when we tried to book. Did it worth it? Absolutely!! I don’t like schnitzel and was the best of my life. Our waiter was the nice...More
