Terrible coffee and an extraordinary price. Milk had been steamed at thousand percent, horrible bubbly milk on top and watery on the bottom. No such thing as velvety milk being incorporated into an espresso with skill. Coffee art in the creme, forget it. I think...More

This was my favorite Vienna cafe. It has a lived-in vibe, and it's off the beaten track, so it's not really a tourist trap. I will certainly return here one day, and I'll bring a good book with me.

I don't think I have ever given such a low rating. Would give it zero if Tripadvisor allowed me! This place was recommeneded by our hotel as a place to visit. Wish we had not bothered. As we walked in we were greeted with a...More

A place not packed with tourists, piano music in the background and friendly staff and ability to sit here for hours to read, plan and soak in the atmosphere. What is there not to love. I had lunch, tea, and coffee here. Prices are a...More

Give this cafe a wide berth unless you enjoy being treated with contempt. We were ignored by three waitresses when we politely asked for our order to be taken after being seated for fifteen minutes. When finally a waitress arrived she left midway through our...More

So disappointed we walked from other side of town to experience this coffee house only to be treated with contempt and ignorance by the waitresses. We asked politely numerous times to place our order only to be ignored, when a waitress finally came as we...More

One of the original Coffee Houses and a real experience; it's like going back in time as you walk through the door. It's an elegant establishment, the staff are friendly and leave you to enjoy the atmosphere. Service is not quick but that's part of...More

Finally, I had the chance to taste their special chocolate wafers which I didn't try last time from watching a TV programme that it was their speciality. It was so soft and melted in your month. Must try together with melange coffee.

Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping

weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium
Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six
remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with
a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna
and the center. One of the most historic sites in the
