The location of this restaurant is interesting in the Spitelberg, just outside the centre.
The food was great - would like to rate it 4.5, just below the 5.0 rating for Lebenbauer. Hope to return next time in Vienna.
This was one of the best meals we had during our entire three-week trip through Central Europe. We made a reservation (a must), and were sat in the back dining room which had a really great community vibe to it. The main restaurant is Michelin...More
It is good to find a fine vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Vienna, where most of the offer is carnivore. And in a place such as this, where the atmosphere is a bit bohemian, the patrons tend to be young and clearly very conscious about the environment,...More
The soup had a strange taste, soy flavor I guess. The burger was uncooked as the contents could easily fall into pieces. The French fries were good though also the barbeque sauce. I am a vegetarian for 11 years and I ate many foods of...More
We visited this bistro for a birthday meal and what a treat it was. The service was really friendly and helpful from the minute we entered and the overall ambience as the place filled up was very relaxed. The staff had to work hard but...More
We needed a quick dinner before our theatre visit and this was a great idea. The service was super quick, food was really good and it had interesting flavor combinations which we liked. They offer tap water and dont use straws which is also nice.
The location was very convenient to where we were staying and the food was decent, but I found the menu limited, especially because I have to restrict the carbs that I eat. The service was good, the atmosphere pleasant.
We had lunch there and it was a really good meal. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and spoke really good English. He help me choose wine, as I do not know anything about local wines and it was really good one - Bio Roter...More
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
