We were a bit disappointed, the food was ok, but we went with higher expectations. We ordered creme brulee for the desert, but it was a very bad decision. In general, it was an average Chinese place.

The ChinaBar offers an interesting mix of classic Sichuan and modern Austrian elements. The emphasis is on finely balanced flavours provided by spices and the food themselves. Classy but unpretentious setting and very nice service. We also had two children (2 and 12) with us,...More

Service was fast and friendly. It has nice sunny outdoor terrace for drinking/socializing. But we find the food to be average. The starters were okay but the main dishes were disappointing; they were salty and over-powered/drowned by too much strong sauces and oil. Not tasty...More

The place has a sleek modern feel to it. Tables nicely spread- so you're not sitting squeezed together. The menu is extensive and has a lot of exotic things, but also enough for the less adventuresome. We had fried beef rolls to begin which were...More

It is interesting, that around this restaurant, there are 5another asianstyle puds/ restaurants, but each of them is different focused. China bar is very nice place, you have to try their 'gansetaschern & hirschtaschern' and ultra interesting 'chokokomousse with ginger, pepper and goji'! Food was...More

Great experience in Vienna with genuine Chinese cuisine. Food is spicy and tasty. The location can't be easier to found (literally on the subway station). The place itself is nice with modern design and efficient staff. Try the limonade.

My memories Szechuan food I had in Hong Kong is still so strong that I hesitate to try it around Europe. But friend recommanded me this as a "modern Szechuan" and I didn't hesitate to try. My experience is that they do it really well...More

Came here by chance after the ramen place we wanted to visit was found to be closed on a Sunday (basic tourist mistake). As we sat down outside had looked at some reviews which suggested service might be a little slack. With this in mind...More

Good value, tasty food delivered by friendly personnel in a modern atmosphere. An especially good deal are the weekday lunch menus offering high quality food for less than 10€. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This is a very modern Chinese restaurant , not only in its design and decor but also in the choices listed on the menu, which is fusion. A bit on the pricey side if you are on a tight budget. Wait staff are friendly and...More

This former working class district blends hip eateries
and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s
Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and
Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local
icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its
brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby
urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses
several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its
