The Gmoakeller is a great place to have a meal before going to either the Akademietheater or the Konzerthaus. You can have a full meal or just have a starter. They have Trumer Bier and a nice assortment of wines and the restaurant is just...More

We ordered two Wiener schnitzel, they arrived six minutes after the kind waitress took our order. They tasted exactly like you think a schnitzel from a microwave would taste; try, tasteless and a wet crust. The potato salad was drenched in something unidentifiable. We ordered...More

We reserved in advance which was a good thing as the restaurant was busy. Server was friendly and attentive. Tables are close together but still able to move around easily. The menu had some good choices. For us the trout was the standout, well prepared...More

My wife and I both had the cordon blue. The portions were quite large and overall the flavour was good. Prices were also quite reasonable and service was efficient and cordial. My only complaint is the restaurant packs the people in. We sat at a...More

Had New Year's Eve dinner at Gmoakeller. The food was phenomenal and the service was great! As an added treat, we went out into the street with the restaurant patrons and staff champagne in tow and lit off fireworks at midnight. What an experience!

Don't think so, I was with smokers and they went outside - they have heaters set up in winter where smokers go. Check with them - the place is big so maybe they have a seperate space. Out of interest, I was at another decent... More

When we visited we just walked up and were seated right away without any wait. The restaurant did seem to fill up quickly some with big groups. That being said it is very close by a concert hall and may be busy before a... More
