Went for an early dinner one evening before a concert. All of the tables were reserved, so it was a good thing we had a reservation, even for 17:00. Service was a bit slow, though we did manage to get out in time for our...More

Was there with friends. We had a very nice dinner together with typical local/regional/national plates. Friendly and efficient personnel. Nice option to sit outside, protected from the street (from the wind and the passing people).

Set, as the name suggests, in the cellar of a large block, this restaurant provides a shabby and dingy but yet charming and traditional atmosphere for some great Viennese cooking for locals as well as tourists. Good, attentive service and delicious food at very reasonable...More

This place was rammed, every table reserved, food is traditional Austrian and extremely tasty. Staff a little obnoxious but probably because they were so busy. Liver, wiener Schnitzel and the steak were all excellent.

Great traditional Viennese food and lovely atmosphere. Delicious local wine too. We enjoyed good gnocchi and goulash with potatoes. Service was friendly; prices very reasonable for lunch.

We were around 20 and went for a business dinner to Gmoakeller. Very good food, great beer and reasonable prices. The restaurant is nice and they have a terrace.

Essential to book at this very popular restaurant. Food is interesting and very good, and prices very reasonable. You can get an English menu. Staff very helpful.

Staying at a nearby hotel we decided to go for supper at the Gmoakeller. It was a noisy and crowded and a very big venue. The menus was typical Viennese. The Zwiebelrostbraten was fine and tasty and came with roasted potatoes but no vegetables other...More

If you are looking for a good food and preferring local food and wanting to try Austrian dishes this is a good place. Although the restaurant is not made in a high class well-furnished style, but It is I guess purposely given a typical traditional...More

Don't think so, I was with smokers and they went outside - they have heaters set up in winter where smokers go. Check with them - the place is big so maybe they have a seperate space. Out of interest, I was at another decent... More

When we visited we just walked up and were seated right away without any wait. The restaurant did seem to fill up quickly some with big groups. That being said it is very close by a concert hall and may be busy before a... More
