I've been to Kojiro many times with my girlfriend, and I'm still surprised by how it keeps improving in taste and quality. Kojiro offers you the true japanese sushi experience, made with quality rice and fresh fish, consumed in a small cozy place with few seats and free hot green tea, you could wonder about the price. You know usually,... More

My SO and I visited Kojiro on the corner of Rechte Wienzeile and Faulmanngasse upon finding out about their good prices and excellent sushi. Pleasantly, both claims were true, as the Kojiro Special we ordered came with generous cuts of salmon and tuna sashimi. We enjoyed the wide variety of sushis and not to mention how fresh they were. However,... More

Tasty and authentic, you might be waiting in a crowded place for your set to be covered, but it's totally worth it!

Fresh sushi and authentic green tea. Very small and popular place: maybe room for 8-10 customers. I do recommend this as a lunch place and for take away!

We went there on a saturday night at around 9pm and got an table easily. Very quit staff, very friendly, very helpful. We tried out different starters which were all tasty, fresh and interesting. They were all served rapidly. Main course was the vegan ramen soup which was served in a huge bowl. Well, it was a delicious noodle soup... More

I like very much this place, one of my favourites in Vienna. Great food and stuff, small, with a super nice terrace in summer and not pricy at all.

I absolutely love this place. Small, they have only around 10 seats (maybe less) , you can order for takeaway too, but if I can suggest you just take a sit, if you can, or wait until you can, and have the pleasure to watch this - usually -3 japanese gentleman to work. They are truly professionals, and with the... More

This tiny little sushi shop (just like many its type in Japan) is to my mind the best sushi in Vienna! 12 euro for the big sushi set, with the most authentic and classic sushi types. The perfect combination of the rice and fresh fish created by the apt technic of the master. Do not miss!

Every two weeks we stop here for sushi, made by Japanese with quality ingredients, the dream. You need cash to pay.

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
