Wow

When my wife showed me this restaurant I didn't know what to expect. All 3 courses was very good especially the ribeye steak. As a South African we love meat and they didn't let me down. Would highly recommend

While this restaurant is quite a good walk from the Vienna centre, it is worth the trip for the food and the elegant atmosphere. We had salmon trout, red beets, lamb and gnocchi: everything was very good. The service staff rotated a bit during the evening with some delay in getting the orders and the wine, but being a Saturday... More

It's a must go restaurant in Vienna: the service was outstanding and the server was extremely patient with the kids. Also, they offer the best cucumber and absinthe cocktail I have ever had! The took some time to accommodate us in a table but they offered us a complimentary glass of crèmant and virgin cocktails for the kids!

Was greeted at the door, helped with my coat. Lively place with fantastic food. They were out of the wine I asked for and they brought 2 tasting without me asking as a possible substitute. Just an all around perfect dinner, worth the taxi or uber over there.

The staff are so lovely, the atmosphere is cosy & warm, the food is AMAZING (we had soup then steak which was delicious!) & we'd like to thank the staff for making it such a memorable evening as they helped my boyfriend propose :) Can't wait to go back next year !

You get some sort of Viennese kitchen with some modern update. It is a good place for locals and tourists alike.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
