Good service and fresh food. A very stylish place. Their summer garden is just amazing! I recommend to go there for a date.

Great restaurant for Dinner with friends, hip design and good music (lounge). They have a small charming garden in the back of the reataurant and a well equipped bar with smoking possibility. Not just a mainstream cocktail selection but own creations. Very entertaining and unique interior. The food was fresh and well presented. Rather small portions though,in regard of the price... More

we went there for a friend's birthday, we were a Group of 20 People. it was a boiling hot day, but the garden is a perfect spot in summer. Food was delicious and the waiters were really friendly - a bit slow but friendly. after 10 pm you have to go inside in order to give the neighbours night-rest, which... More

What a fabulous surprise find this was! I had originally booked a table, purely because of what I had read about the venue's history and art deco decor. Fully expecting to be seated inside, we were more than delighted when we were led right through to an enclosed courtyard garden with ambient lighting, set under leafy trees. If the weather... More

Walk pass it directly when I try to find this restaurant. Unnoticeable in the street but very good energy when went into the restaurant. Very interesting argon the wall. Ordered a macaroni and calamari. Very good comfort food for the macaroni and the calamari taste good as well with the chorizo on tops. Service is efficient and very handsome waiter... More

Well i reserved a table for my husbands 40 B-Day... I made a reservation and asked for at least a candle in the dessert we order... did not even ask for anything for free... Well i have to say we've been a few times there and the food was always great. But the service is just not good enough for... More

Went for dinner at Motto's following the great reviews and had a great time thanks to gracious, friendly service, around a wonderful meal! The entrance is a little difficult to find on the side of a side street (you need to know the address and look..) but once you're inside the decor is modern, artsy with photos and frescoes. The steak... More

Very cool place - artsy decor. Kitchen stays open late so perfect for post opera meal. Falafel starter was nothing special but the beef carpaccio and tuna tartare were delicious. Beef tips main, chicken curry and fried chicken - all recommended. Excellent service. Go for it!

While the interior decoration may divide opinions, we liked it, and fully enjoyed the food and the service. Price was reasonable, service sharp and polite, and menu not too crowded or complicated. Special diets were well taken care.

Thank Taavi E

Staying in Margareten

Neighborhood Profile
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
