The food is good - everything we ordered was delicious: pizzas, pastas, mozarella ... The service is also very good quality and the place itself very cosy. Highly recommend.

went to get dinner with a friend. the location is amazing, you’re in the middle of the city but it’s still a quiet and not crowded at all. the waiter was so nice and made sure that we had everything we needed. i ordered gnocchi...and my friend had pasta. our food came after maybe 10 minutes maximum! the portions were generous and the food was absolutely delicious!! i would highly recommend this place if you want some delicious italian food and the italian flair in the middle of vienna! 10/10More

Found this little cosy restaurant and so glad we went in. As soon as you walk in you get the vibe you are actually in Italy. The food was incredible and portion sizes are very generous. The decor of the restaurant is stunning. Highly recommend.

I live in Vienna and know many of the Italian restaurants. I have been to Da Capo several times, however, today's lunch will be the last for a long time. We phoned ahead to make sure my friend could get gluten free pasta. No problem....Then when we ordered it the surly waiter told us it was not possible. I asked him to check with the kitchen; sure enough, it was possible but he directed us to the only 3 gluten-free items on the menu. Eventually, he agreed we could have any pasta sauce with the gluten-free penne. The service was dreadfully slow and the waiters seemed uninterested in serving the tables; we had to pour our own wine. When we asked for some more, we were charged an extremely high price for a "double" which was well less than that. Our pastas and salads were not tasty at all. The Caesar salad had iceberg lettuce, as in the menu, but the sauce was completely without flavor. We won't be back and will go back to our usual Italian restaurants.More

Found this restaurant by accident - and was so impressed by the food we made a booking for the following night before we left. Great value, impeccable service and cosy atmosphere. I had the gnocchi with chestnuts, truffles & black butter - it was divine.

This place is really good. The food was delicious and it really worths the visit cause of its great environment. We didn't order a pizza but it seemed also mouthwatering.

This was our last day do popped in for lunch, we were not disappointed. The menu was very extensive with lots of options and choices. We all plumbed for pasta, all dishes were well presented, hot, and tasted fantastic.

From the street, this restaurant looks like a small unassuming place. It's bigger on the inside though. Despite this, service is excellent, prices are good and the food is fantastic ! I ended up going multiple times.

The place was heated like a furnace as we entered from the cold evening air. We soon saw a central pizza oven once inside with chefs throwing the pizza dough in the air. We were seated quickly, the waiters spoke good English. The menu is...extensive with all favourite Italian dishes present, I went for gnocchi carbinarra. The food arrived quickly, was piping hot, creamy and there was a plate full. Very tasty. We were too full for deserts. Upon paying the bill the waiter stood over me asking “what tip I was leaving him” which I found rather presumptive and rude. Gratuities are optional based on service and should never be compulsory. That intimidating behaviour spoilt what was otherwise a nice family meal.More

I don’t think so. I’ve been there at least ten times, and I never saw any dogs in the restaurant. But in the summer, outside, you should be fine :)

Yes, I am sure with the many choices they have (pastas & pizzas) you could get something purely vegetarian.
