This certainly beats a Subway any day of the week. The Austrian Open Sandwich (Belegte Brote) is a Austrian snack, and Trzesniewski seems to be the toast of Vienna for selling this. Selection might seem a little uninspiring at first, but I found 4 that...More

This place was a pit stop after all the touristy things we did in the city. 100 year old sandwich place? It's a must-go! We were a group of hungry tourists with big appetites so we got to try almost all of the sandwiches, (maybe...More

We heard about this on a Rick Steves TV show and on TripAdvisor. It’s widely ballyhooed, but contrary to our wariness, it was charming, cheap and delightful. It’s right by the Cathedral, so you’ll likely be nearby at least once. You can get a pfiff...More

Have been here a couple of times. Nice fresh small sandwich slices. More of a place to stand up as there is no real seating area. Outside on the main street there are plenty of seats and benches so be better to get your little...More

at 11 o clock from mondays to fridays this little sandwich bar will be packed by local and tourists, feasting on their sandwich crations - take an aperol spritz or a hugo with it - really good food!

This funky little open-faced finger sandwich shop is a Viennese institution!!!!!! Not to be missed if you are an egg-salad fan. Cafeteria style ordering from the buffet. The Russian name is off-putting but don't hesitate to give it a try. My favorite by far is...More

Found this after seeing it on the Trip Advisor suggested route. It's a little hidden cafe off one of the main streets. Sandwiches are good and all mainly contain egg. Would return and great to go at lunch time when all the locals are in.
