Wonderful food (and plenty of it!!). Very busy place so it might be smart making a reservation. We got in because of a cancellation Friday night - at that point they were fully booked until Wednesday!

They make the Schnitzels very special here, super thin, crunchy and still juicy. The Place is a must go in Vienna, it is very crowded with Tourists but great atmosphere nevertheless.

Personally I thought this place wasn't bad for traditional schnitzel. I don't normally eat really fried food but the chicken schnitzel with white cabbage was pretty nice and they do a smaller size if you can't manage the larger one. My boyfriend thought the food was average but decent, he had the chicken cordon blue so perhaps stick to the... More

The service was super-fast, excellent Schnitzel and great value for money. We tried more than 10 different places serving Schnitzel in Vienna, nothing to be compared with Figlmueller, they are simply the best, and you will definitely have to reserve to get seated.

You literally get schnitzel the size of a plate. Also note that if the 'main' restaurant is busy, they have another one on a side street so just ask for directions. Good value for money and nice family atmosphere.

When in Wien, it is almost disrespectful not to visit Figlmüller and eat a schnitzel. Eventhough the restaurant is specialised in getting the tourists served and back out asap, I enjoyed my lunch. The food tasted good and the schnitzel itself had the size of a pizza!

i think the media is making an extra exaggeration to make this place as number one ,waiting 15 minutes and reservation before weeks and ... just to eat a schnitzel in a regular place with a regular service and overrated prices.

Visited the Wolzelle location for dinner this past week and the Figlmuller Schnitzel was just as good as advertised.Service was efficient and pleasant. Really glad I made a reservation far in advance as it was so good I tried to go back my last night in Vienna and they were completely booked.By the way bring a hearty appetite as you'll... More

First off, if you decide to have dinner here, make sure to make your reservations several weeks in advance. When we were in Vienna several weeks ago, Figlmueller was turning away patrons and telling them to call the next week for reservations two weeks out. That said, it is worth the wait! The restaurant is small and historic. The food... More

Well this is only the second time that I have had schnitzel and Figlmueller was on my to do list for our 5 day trip to Vienna and we managed to have a dinner here. Loved the location in the narrow alley, entrance was a bit of a squeeze as it was busy (we had a stroller), but once settled... More
