For the past decade I have been eating at Figlmueller. The food is ALWAYS amazing and so is the staff. The schnitzel is the best I have ever eaten and so is the potato salad.

The reputation of the restaurant doesn't match with the quality. Schnitzel is very regular. Service is very slow and poor. All servants behave you such as a farm animal. They expect you to eat and leave as soon as possible. Would never go again.

This is an absolute must if you go to Vienna. Try to book in advance as it is very popular and the venues aren't very bug, especially the original one. It's absolutely delicious and the service is great and the waiters very polite.

Figmuller is a historic restaurant which mainly does schnitzel. And its a delicious one! Many locals told me before i went there that this is the best you can find made traditionally viennese! Great one and a big one! Bigger than the plate actually!

Found this restaurant through TA as one of the closest restaurants to our hotel. It is located in an superbly maintained old building with a number of interconnecting rooms. This place is famous for its Figlmuller Schnitzel but as we had this dish earlier on in the week at another restaurant, we chose the Gordon blue chicken and roasted Calf... More

We went for lunch and even without reservation they found the way togive us a table for two. We obviously tried the Weiner Schnitzel which was the best I've ever had! This is a must if you visit Vienna. I suggest you make a reservation.

It is on a back street - we went a noon on a week day and they said they had no room, and to put our name on a list for 4 days later - but we said we could share a table - we did - the schnitzel is HUGH and we should have shared it - very GOOD

This place oozes character and glass. The waiters are attentive without being over bearing. They know the menu inside and out - which you would expect having served the schnitzel to the same recipe for over 110 years. I went for the pork option, the classic - it wouldn't have felt right having anything else. A glass of white wine... More

This place was packed. We only got a table because I made friends with the reservation lady. Great Schnitzel, best I've ever had. Seemed like it was too much for one person, but I finished it none the less. The homemade grape juice is good too, maybe a bit expensive.

The first and probably the best pork schnitzel i will have. Certainly worth a visit. Just about finished mine off! Make sure you get the salad to go with it and a nice pint of beer!
