An intimate restaurant (family-owned) with only a few tables, immaculate table clothes personalized service and a fair choice of Indian dishes.

I have been to Demi Tass several times and have always thoroughly enjoyed my meal. However, the meals are expensive for Vienna and the portions quite small.

Definitely more in the style of Asian Indian food, but it is genuine. Great location so why not make the effort and enjoy some great food!

After the usual January break Demi Tass opened again and proved, still the best of the best Indian food in Vienna. The cosy atmosphere in the small, elegant restaurant can't be beaten. Personal service by the owner lady and the food is a category for itself. As indian food junkies we eat indian wherever we are. Just returned from London... More

Upside: The food is pretty authentic indian and tastes good and fresh. We liked everything that we ordered (Dal, curries, Rotis and Rice) Downside: Service is really unorganised and slow. First of all the waiter ushered us to a table without asking if we had a reservation. After we had been sitting and waiting for nearly 15 minutes, a lady,... More

Very good food however the staff was unorganized and incompetent. Our server forgot to bring wine when we asked for second glasses. We ordered rice, nann, bhuna lamb and murghi shajahani. Two glasses of house white and still water. €55 including the mandatory cover charge for papadom with chutney. Both curry's were tasty and I would go back to try... More
