Stopped by for a dinner on a warm summer evening on the terrace. Food was acceptable but nothing as fancy as they claim. Wine is completely overpriced and service is just acceptable. For the price get something else in Vienna, I was strongly disappointed. Watch out construction next door might be very noisy, we were over the WE so no... More

The food was very pricey and it was not particularly great. We were offered a tomato starter "from the kitchen" and then found we were charged for it on the bill which I think is very rude. I found the wait staff standoffish and not particularly friendly. Would not recommend it.

During a five night stay in Vienna this was the only meal we had right in the city centre where prices are twice that of restaurants just two underground stops out. The food was excellent and the service good although the evening was rather spoilt by a Russian lady on another table who was at one minute berating the waiters... More

This restaurant was recommended by a 5-star hotel that we stayed in and to be honest, the staff was so unfriendly. The restaurant was empty and they didn't let us sit outdoors and kept on telling us to come by after 10 mins (happened twice). We of course did not end up dining there because why would we go back!

Service was good and friendly. The food was of a good standard but not exceptional. The staff enabled us to have our digestivs and coffee outside which was very kind as the outside area had been closed for the night. On balance I can recommend this restaurant.

Immediately unfriendly from once we looked for a table and continued through out our meal. No menu on display outside and were not very happy when we asked to see one before entering. Extremely overpriced for basic food.

We dined here twice in March while visiting Vienna. Each time, the food was outstanding. The menu is extensive and in Italian. The waitstaff are Italian, speak English, but were pleased that my daughter could order and banter with them in Italian. This is very authentic Tuscan cuisine and my daughter, who has traveled widely through Europe deemed it among... More

We could not find the Italian flair, service, friendliness at the beginning, it was better after the arrival of the Restaurant Manager, before just an employee attendance without service. the dishes just average Italian Kitchen nothing special like in Firenze or Zurich. no second chance for you there are better places in Vienna.

Really enjoyed our meal on their outdoor patio. Half a block off Stephansplatz made for a more relaxed atmosphere than some of the more touristy restaurants nearby. Our pasta dishes were delicious. We saw some reviews suggesting this restaurant was pricy, but we found it to be reasonably priced for the calibre of food.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
