Nice restaurant in Downtown Vienna. But Restaurant is noisy and waiting list at the bar is long. Food quantities are too small so better you ask 4 plates per person to avoid be hungry...list prices are high for such qtities...

Great location and impeccable service. After reading reviews we weren't sure if that's the right place for us but we weren't disappointed. We were greeted very friendly and the service was perfect throughout the entire evening despite being full. The food was wonderfully presented and very tasty. Great Italian wine list. Lovely atmosphere.

If you're looking for a wonderful Italian restaurant in Vienna then Fabios is the perfect place. We couldn't believe how great the prosciutto and melon was. Also the veal chop was out of this world. The restaurant has a beautiful setting and the staff is extremely friendly. We would highly recommend it I would love to return.

This place has a beautiful people vibe that could be intimidating to normal folk. Tiny, low tables surrounded by plush couches and large throw pillows substitute for conventional tables and chairs. Gives the impression that dining is not the highest priority here. How one could eat comfortably, if at all, was a mystery to me. But the sleek, gorgeous crowd... More

We ate here on our second night in Vienna and it clearly deserves the reviews. We had a short wait for a table - but we hadn't booked. Ate outside - my husband had a pizza and I had a seafood pasta - very good food and excellent service. Thank you Fabios!

Stopped for lunch whilst sightseeing with family. Not the biggest of choices from menu but the food was beautifully presented and tasted as good with staff who were helpful and attentive. If I was to be critical, the price of puddings/cheeses seemed a bit high. Overall a nice place to eat.

I recently went back for lunch after a couple of years and was quite impressed. Yes the place is full of beautiful people- not bad in itself- and yes it can seem pretentious to some people but the reality is that Fabios serves excellent modern Italian food, albeit at a price. Go especially in summer to enjoy the lovely terrace... More

Beautifully set restaurant with an ideal central location that you can find very easily. Attentive friendly staff. Interesting menu with daily specials! I went for the tagliatelle for starter as the swordfish appealed for main course and it did not disappoint, sublime and cooked to perfection, i have a dislike for over cooked fish! My daughter had the Beef Carpaccio... More

The location in the first district is very good, no traffic, you may seat outside or inside, for people they don't care so much about the price, they charge for bread Euro 7.- that's too much, but have a look maybe you like it as well.

We found this place wandering through the streets and looked at the atmosphere and menu and thought this was a great choice. Tried to book but were told it was full .. We went and enjoyed other sights and kept our eye out for another venue .. After walking around and shopping we headed back and walked past Fabiola once... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
