I'm still confused by this restaurant. Unsure of positioning - not Japanese, not Peruvian...Food was ok, quite salty. Portions were reasonable for lunch. Outdoor seating on the ring.

A restaurant with Peruvian-style food could not be a traditional place to visit in Vienna, but Mercado is worth the visit. We have a group of 15 people that had a great time, were food was great for the presentation and taste, and the service...More

Amazing Peruvian-Japanese restaurant. We went for dinner at Mercado. Place is nicely and authentically decorated, relaxing atmosphere. We were all in for this experience. We had both Peruvian dishes as well as Nigiri, as the chef's choice. This combination of cuisines to try at the...More

Chef and partner Javier Vera Alarcon creates a very current version of the fantastic Peruvian Nikkei Cuisine. He last worked at the best rated Nikkei Restaurant in the world - Maido in Lima - and shows an easy understandable version of these very refined flavors! All this combined with regular cultural and musical events will make you enjoy your evening in this colorful restaurant.
