The food it's quite good and the personnel is very friendly. Prices are preety fair. You can't get this kind of good food in vienna at lower prices. I ate tapas dishes elsewhere and here were the best.

Superb tapas, service and value. The allioli is worth the visit alone. And the chicken skewers... Wow. Highly recommended!

Super essen, super service. Sehr preiswert. Total zu empfehlen. Lovely way to end the last summer evening in Vienna. The tapas were absolutely delicious. Really authentic, just like you would get in Spain. I would definitely go again and highly recommend it.

I went to this restaurant for a birthday party. The restaurant is not very big,so you must reserve if it is a big group. The atmosphere is very good and the waiters and owner are extremely friendly. I was happy to see that most of the food is homemade food and very tasty. The tortilla and the croquetas were very... More

A nice little restaurant owned by a Spaniard, nice atmosphere and good food. It is nice to see that most of the food is done in-house, with the tortillas been done by the owner (and none of that frozen hell), the croquetas are magnificent and are the kind your grandmother would do in Spain, again none of that frozen mistreat.... I have visited this restaurant multiple times. Every time the food was amazing! The plates are simple, fresh and delicious. The service is very good, which is hard to find in Vienna. The meatballs, peppers, cheese plates and croquets are a must try. You will not be disappointed!!!

I visited this restaurant my first day in Vienna as it is close to the hotel I stayed and it was one of the few options open for a Saturday evening. They only have tapas so dont expect big portions of food but they make the work. The staff is friendly as they are Spanish so very warm and make... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
